most over rated fighter.

Did anyone else see Sugar Ray Leonard say that Sergio Mora could beat Jermain Taylor when asked on FNFs? well they are good friends or w/e. he wouldnt say anything bad about him on ESPN. maybe he really thinks that though...

First off calling Taylor a future hall of famer is kind of premature don`t ya think. Two close decisions against a 40 year old Hopkins(NO way he won the 1st fight) and a conroversial draw against Winky doesn`t mean a trip to the hall of fame. I don`t think he`s overrated though. He`s good and going to be REALLY good. well u have to keep in mind that he is only, like, 27 or 28. thats a hell of a lot to accomplish when ur THAT young. and his style could let him last in his prime until he is 32 or something (unless he fights like he did against winky) If he keeps facing these guys this often, i think he will definetly make the hall of fame IMO

margarito-i like him, but its rediculous for any1 to say that he can beat the #1 p4p fighter, before margarito has fought any1 worth mention.

Okay its fairly straght forward. who is the most over reated fighter in boxing today. I would have to say sergio mora. Some casual boxing fans have said that he could beat allan green. Ive also heard some people say that sergio mora is gonna be the one to take taylors title. If thats not overated i dont know what is. i agree that sergio mora is vastly overrated. i think mora will be doctored into a title fight with taylor, and it will be product vs product to see which product will get the gift decision. but when i think of overrated in today's time, i think of roy jones.

And Sergio Mora is UNDER-RATED!!! he is no where near over-rated. Nobody thinks he could be jermian taylor. the concensus on the fight is that jermain taylor deserves an easy fight. I say he's OVER-rated. :cool: I scored the 2nd fight for Manfredo. And he has no punching power.

I think that Calvin Brock is pretty overrated; he's fought okay to decent opposition but hasn't looked all that great doing so. He needs to step up against a fighter who poses a real challenge to him and beat that opponent convincingly for me think he's got a future in the heavyweight division.

Not too long ago when Sugar Ray was on FNF, he told the in-studio analyst that he thought Sergio Mora could beat Jermain Taylor with a straight face. Is it me, or has Sugar Ray Leonard completely sold out his boxing itellect for his stupid "contender" show. ?

Corrales or Jermain Taylor in my opinion... why is jermain Taylor overrated? he seems to be the only guy who can even get close fights with Hopkins and Wright

He`s good and going to be REALLY good. I gotta go with Margarito as far as overrated. Floyd would walk through him like he did Gatti. I also said for the last couple of years that Lacy(who I Love) and Tarver(who I hate) were overrated, and Calzhage and B- Hop proved me right.

You gotta give him props for facing Hopkins twice, then taking Winky, and wanting him AGAIN right after the fight. No one is saying hes one of the greatest of all time, but he is on top of the division right now. Oh yeah no doubt respect due and I have always liked Taylor but it just so happens like you pointed out he has fought 2 guys whom I have always liked better also........so I may have been critical of him but really do like the guy he is a good fighter.

although now fully exposed as wack. Rahman Noodles was way overrated. I also agree that Corrales is over-rated. I see everyone on this board loving him.
