This wouldn't be a smart move for either fighter because both fighters are a big step up from the level of opposition they have just faced.
No offense, but Mesi has been fighting guys not even Shannon Briggs would fight and a fight with Holyfield at this point might end his(Mesi's) career.
At this point both fighters should gradually step up the level of opposition, basically taking their time.
I agree a little bu the talk right now is of Holyfield fighting Sam and Sam is much tougher a fight at this point than Mesi.
Also, we have to remember it was Bates. He only beat Jeremy Bates.
Mesi won by KO in his last fight as well.
I really see Holy V Mesi next.
It would be an important fight for both of their careers at this point and the most money for them as well.

Since he doesn't act like he wants to start racking up bums like Foreman did, He should fight another guy who's fallen off but still has name recognition - a Jameel McCline maybe, or someone of that caliber...
I think that Evander Holyfield should consider the Foreman approach because it did infact work for George and pretty damn good I would say. George Foreman regained the heavyweight title and left boxing with all his marbles because maybe he didn't always fight the best opposition and take the punishment that comes along with it.
If Holyfield has to choose between the Muhammed Ali comeback or George Foreman comeback, I would advise the latter.
id say one of the 4 titlists will look to fight him for a easy defence and abig name on there resumes
hollyfield will get a title shopt just because of hes name
but WBC, IBF, or WBA would have to sanction this, and i doubt they would

Talk is that he will fight Sinan Samil Sam next. Tough fight if true
good luck if he fights sinan samil sam......holyfield doesn't have it in him to go twelve hard rounds anymore......and nor does he have much of a punch!....
Samil Sam will take his head off. Holyfeild looked good against a weak opponuant. And it really looked like his punches didn't have much on them. Holyfeild should call it quits. Before something bad happens.

I say a vet like a McCline, Guinn, Harrison etc. Some C level fighter where he will get some rounds and work in. So he can really test that shoulder and his stamina.
