it'd be entirely different had rahman won it i know that for damn sure oleg was shot and going no where his chin was glass blah blah hes won every fight since 02 mabey agianst shit opp but obviously he held up tonight ! give the fucker a chance to defend before yall talk shit and down grade a great fight for nothing

I'll agree with that. I really wasnt bored at all. And the last round was one of the best i've seen.

i agree with poppa here, i think it was the best heavyweight fight in 06 thus far.. great action, i was impressed with both guys, stamina wise and they both showed alot of heart, of course, with the exciting finish.. nothing like a close fight that ends in dramatic fashion.. great stuff for boxing.. (if i had known it was gonna go like that, i wouldn't have cared what was on the undercard! :D ) i also gotta add, i can't see how anyone who watched the fight, couldn't be happy with it (unless you had money on Rahman i guess), even with bets aside, a great fight..

We just don't see eye to eye on what constitutes "Exciting" fights. Well... I guess I saw much more drama and how Oleg overcame adversity (being tagged with serious bombs) and his age (being dead tired in rounds 8,9,...) to win this... Oleg worked the body great, and left hook did the job ... it took full 12 rounds for this strategy to take effect ...

come on, they WERE trading BOMBS all the time starting in round 3... and Liakhovich-Brewster was great too ! Yeah but they weren't connecting like in Brewster/Liakovich. I'm not saying it wasn't a great fight, I just think that one was better. This one had a better result, thats for sure. This is a great boxing story. I always liked Oleg but his chin always let me down. He showed a great chin tonight.

Actually I did. Well I didn't take the full $50 hit. The fight was slow and boring, like all heavyweight boxing. A bunch of slow, wild punching with minimal skill. Finally the Rock gets TKO'd from obviously having the stamina of an obese 5 year old. BTW, the undercard was actually pretty good. sure, it was slow ... compared to pacman... you must be from Thailand where life goes faster :)

By far the best heavyweight fight I have seen in years. Entire house was on their feet. There is no possible way this fight was better than Brewster v.s. Liakahovic. I could watch it over and over and it wouldn't be anywhere near the level.....because the combatants aren't on the same level. The only part that was exciting was the end. That was a tight ass fight. Best one since Brewster vs. Lyakhovich. That fight may as well have been in slow motion. The last minute was the best part of the fight.
