max is a BIG cheerleader with a mic... he's blantly biased towards some fighters and HATES others.... he doesnt even try to conceal it or try to make fair, unbiased comments as a JOURNALIST... of all the boxing announcers, he's less of a journalist and more of a fanboy.... He's not even a journalist ... His job is basically to be on the air and give his opinion. That's not journalism. I don't have much of an opinion on Max. His voice is strange and his beard pisses me off. I hate those fucking thin beards. But Lou Dibella is a cock. What were they arguing about? That vid didn't really show anything.

max was crying, hahahaha, he knows some history but he picks alot of fights wrong he thought stevie johnston was gonna beat vivian harris. lol. this guy still knows a ton about boxing though. and hes very smart and interesting to listen to. perfect combination for a good commentator, and i like him on HBO a lot

One difference about Max and Lou is that Max comes off as a big fan of boxing and will hug a fighter's leg to learn more about the sport...Lou, acutally thinks he can be cocky like a fighter; like he is the one doing the fighting in the ring, and when you hear him talk about boxing, it doesn't make him look to bright. I have heard Max correct himself saying he was actually "Wrong", but never heard that from Lou...basically, when Max talks with his "foot in his mouth" he is more likely to correct himself later, while Lou will keep talking.
