The Perfect Boxing Match In History...

round 9 goes to gatti ward 1 hands down. it surely goes over tyson-douglas. Round 9 was a meaningful and drama-filled round in the douglas fight, but it wasnt all that exciting. Gatti-Ward round 9 is one of my favorite rounds, and i never think of round 9 in the douglas fight when discussing my favorite rounds Right on. + Good shout for Round 4. What about for Round 3- Gatti vs. Ward II, when Gatti hit Ward with 'the hardest punch he's ever landed', then battered Ward for two minutes whilst Ward was out on his feet, and then Ward storms back with a combo to the head and stuns Gatti? That was excitement!

For Round 4 I'm throwing out Vargas-Trinidad. It may not have been the most pretty round boxing wise. But Vargas surprisingly knocked down Trinidad who responded by nailing him in the nuts. Not every day you see that now. I think the dirty tactic won the fight for Trinidad

I just thought of another one for Round 11... Barrios-Freitas. Both were down in the round, but Frietas KO'd him in the 12th. Also a good finish but not like Chavez-Taylor

Good call... I need to get a tape of this fight. It is really fun to watch. Thanks man. I really need to transfer my copy of that fight over to DVD before the tape wears out....I've watched it so much it ain't funny. Anytime I'm feeling down, I pop that tape in...makes me feels better instantly. :D

Great round....especially with the drama of thinking Tyson was about to do him in and then Douglas came back stronger than before. It was a thing of beauty. Good call... I need to get a tape of this fight. It is really fun to watch.

For Round 8 how about Benn-McClellan. The fact that Benn survived was impressive then factor in he KO'd McClellan and retired him 2 rounds later. Man that was a war. If Round 1 was anything but Hearns-Hagler I might think of throwing in Benn-McClellan Round 1

Also for the 13th, how about Pryor-Arguello I. That is when Arguello was landing major shots that I thought would put Pryor down, then in the break between rounds he got the "mystery" bottle and KO'd Arguello. Not a bad shout at all...

Fuck round 12 going to Chavez/Taylor. One of the most disgraceful moments in boxing. Round 12 should be Toney/Jirov. Emmanuel Steward was SHOUTING with excitement. That was a masterful round and an HONEST round. hahaha, put some peroxide on it already.
