Ok I know about RJJ which was more of a off balance push/punch. I never seen the Montel Griffen or Reggie Johnson knockdowns but from what I understand those were also flash knockdowns. From Jr Middleweight to heavy credit should be given to JT for one of the best chins ever.
Your an idiot, go to your Fantasy fight section and worship the old white fighters like you always do.
The truth hurts man. You just can't take the fact that your little idol James Toney is a human being and not some kind of boxing god.
Here's an interesting excerpt from a Jan 06 interview with ESB:
---------------
ESB: Have you ever been hurt in a fight?
JT: Yeah, I’ve been hurt before. But you know what? When you get hurt, you don’t leave a notice. You don’t go ahead and run like this (moving back and panicking) that’s when people know you’re hurt. And when you are violently hurt that’s when you start dancing, you do like Roy Jones (doing a dance mocking Roy Jones, the onlookers burst into uncontrollable laughter)
ESB: Who hurt you? Merqui Sosa?
JT: Sosa hurt me! Iran Barkley hurt me also. When Iran hit me, I swear to God to this day, when that motherf**ker hit me dog, I felt that S*** for two weeks. But like I said, I was going to let him know. It’s a mind game; your mind gets you to through things.
Reggie Johnson had him hurt and in trouble. If Johnson was a better finisher and a tad bit more accurate, he would have stopped Toney IMO. That was one fight where I saw Toney dazed and unable to answer to his opponent's punches for at least a few seconds.
I mean just watch the clip above where he's hanging on for life and not throwing anything back at Johnson. That's the definition of hurt.
Johnson in those days was a pretty damn good fighter not a stepping stone by any means for any middleweight.

I beleive there ar fighters out there that no matter how hard they are hit their brains do not have that I am hurt reflex. I have worked construction and seen guys take I-beams to the chin that were moving on chains and were just like oh I guess I should move and I was just did that really happen becuse dude aint acting like it did. I think james toney is like that. I think you could take a Bball bat to his chin and he'll ask are you going to stop at one swing. Ther are just people like that.

Like to where he was atually shaken? not that I know of the hardest flush shots he has ever taken was the jirov fight were he got his head wiped around but it was like nothing happened crazy just crazy.
....This is an interesting topic considering that the responses will be very different on 09/03.
Yes indeed 09/03 will be another test against probally the hardest puncher in the division.

Don't hold your breath, even the Toney that fought Rahman could beat Peters.
now you cant say "flush" for the fact that only 19 or 20 percent of his punches landed..but he did make contact with toney a few times
but that fight was more toneys defense working jirovs pressure agianst him then anything

Has anyone ever checked Toneys chin & hurt him? | BoxingScene Community
