I too just seen the fight last night. For awhile Shanes nickename went from "Sugar" to "Holding Ruiz" what is is with Hopkins and Mosley having to hold to win a fight. They hold then punch, hold then punch, it was damn stupid to watch. Vargas just could not pull the trigger, he looked weak. Mosley looked just as bad, he too couldn't pull the trigger, still punching with one punch at a time. Mosley fooled some people but those people are the ones that hate on Vargas.do I type this bad when I am druck if so I am very sorry

Vargas in now 25-5 because he lost to winky but they gave the fight to Vargas.

all i kno is.. sugar even late in his career will give mayweather ALOT of trouble.. he punches hard as a welter.. his speed is still there.. i think hell break floyds defense.. all he needs is to remember is head movement.. throw combos and get outta the way.. floyd cant hurt him.. ill be rooting for shane. i hope hes not like 5435 years old by the time he fights floyd..

But to me Mosley looked like caca in his fight with Diaz, Diaz had Mosley back peddaling untill he got the tko. If Diaz had a better chin he would have done what Chavez and Castillo or the least what G.Vargas did to Mayweather ands be very competitive with him. Mosley best performance at welterweight was against Adrian Stone, even though he had a shaky chin but thats why it was a spectacular performance by Mosley. I agree with if Diaz had a better chin he would have done much better. I also liked the Shannon Taylor fight.

The Mosely who fought DLH in 2000 and the cocky Mosely who beat Antonio Diaz I think would give Floyd fits. I would have loved to have seen it back then. I referred to the Diaz fight because Mosely was so damn cocky that night doing his southpaw switching and those roy jones type triple left hooks. I know you werent commenting to me but I just wanna state that if you've followed Vargas's career you know that the Vargas that fought Shane was only 30% of what he use to be. We all know he's shot thats a given. Mosely is also clearly not the same fighter. When was his last decent fight against a credible opponent ? I'll tell you...2000 when he dominated DLH. After that it was mediocre opposition, 4 losses ( Forrest/Winky twice each) oh and the rematch with DLH where DLH got robbed. He only throws one punch at a time now not those fast 4-5 punch combos. I agree with the thread starter 100%. Yes you we're not fooled by Mosley's performance but you are making a fool out of yourself. Have you seen any fighter who's out of their primes came back to become the fighter they once was? STUPID! Nobody wins against FATHER TIME. It's a fact that Mosley is already out of his prime but it's also a fact that he still has the biggest chance to give PBF a good competition and possibly beat him. What are you talking about? Vargas is thinking about going up a whole weight class because of difficulties making it at welter. What you saw was a faded heavier guy being beaten by a less faded smaller guy. Evens up if you ask me. Im i the only one who saw Mosley as a lightweight and welterweight?

lampley was ignoring the fact vargas was moving in slow motion, steward kept trying to tell him, lampley was screaming this is the best mosley we have seen in years.
