Bernard Hopkins gives Evander Holyfield advice

As reported by Keith Idec of Northjersey.com Evander Holyfield sat at Bernard Hopkins' table at a dinner Friday night at MGM Grand to honor Hopkins who has recently retired from Boxing. At the dinner Holyfield asked Hopkins for his opinion on his decision to continue fighting. Idec reports that Hopkins gave Holyfield a brutally honest answer. Quoted by NorthJersey, Hopkins said: "I told him he should be done with it. He's done everything he can do in this sport. What else is left for him to accomplish? And he doesn't need the money, so why keep fighting? I told him he should just enjoy his kids and give back to the sport in some other way." In regards to how Holyfield handled the advice, Hopkins said, "He just kind of put his head down and started eating his salad. But he heard me. He understood where I was coming from."
