since it doesn't look like a rematch is going to happen with wright-taylor any time soon and taylor lined up to fight mora, why not have a rematch with vargas-wright if vargas can get past mosley. since the first fight was close and some thought that wright won i'm sure it would be a big payday for both in a rematch. is there anyone else that would like to see this happen? Lou Dibella said that if Vargas beats Mosely and if Mora loses to Regan then Fernando Vargas will be Taylors next opponent at 160.

Forget what happened with Taylor and look back at what happened after Vargas. He beat Shane Mosley twice (the guy that beat Vargas). He didn't look great against Soliman or Taylor but we both can acknowledge that Soliman has an awkward style that is hard to deal with and Taylor is a good young champion (although how good remains to be seen).

Even if you think Vargas won the first fight, Wright has only improved his game since then while unquestionably Vargas has lost something. Nonetheless, I would like to see this fight as Winky is still pissed over the decision. Any fight where there is unfinished business is usually worth seeing Improved, or is he still the same fighter? Just because he took a beating against Taylor and looked decent he's improved? :confused: Maybe Taylor isn't as good as everbody thought.

Personally I would not like to see this happen. I'm sure it would generate a ton of PPV money, but I just think at this stage of their careers, Wright would destroy Vargas. I think if Vargas does get by Mosley, we could see this fight in the works becuase of the $$$ factors, but it will not be a good fight. I think Wright completely dominates.

Taylor is a much more skilled fighter than Vargas and more powerful too (most likely), yet he couldn't stop Wright. While I do think Taylor would at least drop Wright in a rematch, I don't think Vargas could beat Winky. if vargas beats mosley, their might be a third fight to make it a trilogy. BUT, Mosley apparently didnt want THIS rematch, so he may not want another fight after this. If he doesnt then, there a wright-vargas rematch would probably happen. The first fight was VERY exciting and full of action. Expect the second fight to be almost identical. If this was a PPV fight, id probably look to buy it, even if it had a mediocre under-card
