In my own opinion the biggest upset wat when Duran was beat by the british rastafarian Kirklan Lang (i think thats how u spell it). and by the way im not bein biasd its just my opinion.
Whats yours?
IMHO it's Tyson vs. Douglas
For the biggest upset outside of boxing, there was a bout between this young israeli guy and a seasoned Philistine champion:
David vs 9ft Goliath
you know the outcome :D

Donald Curry welterweight was considered pound for pound best fighter in the world at the time i think 1986
upstart Honeyghan from England went to USA and gave him a good beating, Curry quit at the seventh

Just shows you how big Iron Mike was.
If a man can be considered a "god", he was at the time, hence the 42-1 odds. I'll never forget watching that fight. My friend, John Mark came over and we were expecting a 2-round fight at best. Damn. Most excitnig night of boxing for either of us...we were goin nutts, yelling at the TV, screaming with every punch. We couldn't believe what we were witnessing; and it didnt' really sink in until after the ref counted Tyson out.
Un-believe-able.
