That fight is a reality check. Everyone on earth can claim Mosley is on the decline, but they'd surely have to admit one thing. A fight with Sugar Shane is the biggest fight of Floyd's career. Nobody Floyd has faced, has the star credentials and big fight experience that Shane does. I'm relieved that this is up, i was dreading a fight with cosme rivera who would do no better than Gomez. I wouldn't mind seeing either one of these fights though i would much rather see him go against Mayweather. the only fights i would see as acceptable for him are Mayweather, Hatton, Collazo, Judah, quintana or Williams. If he fights anyone else i will be very dissapointed, and i hope the fight goes through. by the way i think Mosley can no longer hang with mayweather and stands less of a chance to beat him than does margarito. Mosley hasn't knocked anyone out since 2001 though he stopped vargas but we all know that was on a cut, while marg has stopped everyone of his last six wins (TD loss to Santos in between). I see the possibility that both guys get outboxed and outspeed severely but i just can't see a scenario where mosley is able to find a way to beat PBF, while Margarito has the punchers chance.

If Shane beats Vargas, I think that's the most interesting fight for Floyd. I'd like to see the Margarito fight too, but Shane's style (imo) makes for a more interesting match up.

Mosley isn't fast enough to compete with Mayweather. Maybe at lightweight he was, but at welterweight or junior middleweight, I see Mayweather tearing him up with his speed. He won't knock Mayweather out because he can't punch through the gloves hard enough if he ever gets Mayweather cornered. I think Mayweather owns Mosley. Mayweather would probably outbox the shit out of Margarito, but Margarito at least stands a chance of scoring a KO due to his power. Nah man, I think Mosley is the bigger threat. Like you said, I think Floyd easily outboxes Margarito and he wont get caught with a big punch by a right hand fighter because his D is too good. Shane is a monster though and I think Shane hits harder then Margarito. If the fights at 147 then I think Floyd may have a easy time with him but at 154 I think Shane easily gives him more trouble then Margarito. Im not saying it would be a tough fight but if it is a tough fight then I wouldnt be surprised. Shane's hands are still pretty fast and his power & body shots could shake Floyd at that weight
