Winky is being a sore....drawer??

If Winky didn't win that fight last nite than there is no way Taylor beat Hopkins in either fight.This shit is getting boring, Taylor is way over rated, he's just a big middleweight with alot of people pulling strings for him. That doesnt make any sense. What did last nights fight have to do with the Hopkins fight? Yeah, nothing. Please leave the hating out of this thread.

i didnt read all the previous posts about this so if someone mentioned what i thought i apologize.. here are my thoughts of the fight.. a good fight.. action packed.. i wasn't at all bored.. taylor won rounds on aggression. he landed a FEWW shots here and there.. but MOST of his shots were picked off by winky.. winky has a great defense and did what he had to do to win that fight.. the only thing i can say he did wrong was coast in the last round.. he wasnt as busy as he should've been. but honestly.. HBO esp. jim lampley is really getting on my nerves.. he was riding taylors dick all night.. its as simple as that.. the more fights i see on HBO the more i realize how biased he really is..

Anyone who thinks this was a robbery is a retard, simple as that. The fight could have been scored 115-113 for either guy but i think a draw was really the fairest decision. It was the fight of the year and all this whining just detracts from it.

He did enough to win that fight. He clearly won that last round.. what did taylor do? nothing.. Another HBO poster boy getting home town decisions.. Taylor threw punches. Winky fought for about a minute and coasted the first and last minute. In any case, from what ive heard, many ringside scorers, ESPN and our own Rick Reeno will disagree with you.

At least he wasn't so excited to get a draw like Taylor. Did you see how elated he looked that he got the draw then acting as if he was the P4P champ or something? So far he hasn't really proven anything other than real close scored matches against fighters who really never had the most popular following in their careers. YEah it was a bigtime hometown decision. Even thought it wasnt in Taylors hometown. Or him homestate. :rolleyes:

Winky is a competitor, and competitors don't take defeat or draws well. Technically speaking, Winky beat Jermain in my book. Jermain has been very lucky to survive the last three fights. I'm sure Winky will change his mind, and take on Jermain again for a nice PPV gate. Knuckles I think you're right about that. :cool:

I'm hoping they will fight again to put an end to the questions that are going to be raised even though Winky says he doesn't want a rematch. Does anyone have a picture of Winky when he gave the interview? That face was busted up and nasty looking

You guys are hilarious. Winky never cried like a bitch, he simply stated his case. He did out land Taylor by a wide margin but Taylor did land the more solid blows. Winky leaving the ring after the decision is nothing man. Hell, I left the ring and was in the dressing room while they announced one of my wins. Winky is not a bitch or a punk. At the moment he was upset about the decision and voiced his disapproval of it. While he did say that he didnt want to fight him again, I believe that was just the immediate emotion speaking. I think that they will fight again, just not in Taylors territory. It was a just and fair decision in my opinion but your decisions that he is a punk and a bitch are not just and in any way credible. These fools saying that Winky clearly dominated are either taylor haters or just stupid. And say what you want, but Wright's comments after the fight made him look bad. "boo-hoo I was robbed! Boo-hoo, I don't want a rematch!". Hopefully he settles down and shows a little more class tomorrow. But for now he looks like a bitch. Of course that is just my opinion. :cool:

You're kidding right? Threw more than Winky in the 12th? If his two punches were more that means Winky didn't throw two punches the whole 12th. Go watch that 12th round again. i'm saying taylor landed one or two good shots while winky was bouncing around, and that right there was enough for the judges to give it to him, because both of them spent the majority of the round bouncing and shifting.

well winky is very dissappointed i think he should of won the fight just like he should of win the fight against vargas but tonights fight does not in anyway compare to his fight with vargas because the taylor fight was much closer then the vargas fight

Winky acted like a bitch. It was a GREAT fight! I don't have a real problem with the draw, but Winky is deluding himself if he thought he clearly dominated.
