Why would you want to order a ppv with Hopkins again after being scammed out for Hopkins-Taylor II when he promised to go after Taylor and knock him out, and it turned into another bore fest just like the first fight.
That is why I am debating this my head. In both Hop/Taylor fights there was little to cheer about. Both fighters faces were clean after I and II. I think Taylor is a more of an aggressive fighter than Tarver and still Bernard managed to make that fight look pretty boring. The only thing really going for this fight is that B-hop is moving up in weight and it will be his last fight.I am wondering if these factors will force an exciting fight out of this. Cotto/ Malignagi fight has a good undercard and Cotto has always been in entertaining fights. I still think these fighters have alot to proove and the only reason this fight is a PPV is because of the massive market of italian and puerto ricans fans that are going to buy this fight. I am leaning towards Cotto/Malignagi because Bobby Pacquiao is in the cards so this fight will get a fair number of pinoys as well. Though I may change my mind. Im glad Wright/Taylor is free.
I don't think either fight rates being on PPV.
Am I the only here who remembers the day, in the not too distant past, when PPV was reserved for 2 top, popular, highly regarded challengers in fights that actually meant something?
Until we, the boxing public, start refusing to pay for 2nd tier fights on PPV, it will keep getting worse.
Amen, But I feel like my hands are tied.
the cotto fight, i'm a nyc guy so this fight should be interesting. the undercard i beleive is a little better also.
the only think in nyc you have to have satelite tv to order it..

Just doing a little research... Which pay-per-view, if any, do you intend to buy and why?
I think I am going to order both and hopefully at least the Main events won't cinflict too much but who knows.......... :)
i'd like to buy the cotto fight but i cant seem to find where to get it. i dont have a dish so i think i may have to pickup the tarver fight instead :-/
whats sky sports and how can i get my hands on that?
Sky Sports is the English/British version of HBO and ESPN. Not too sure if you can get it streamed
im going straight to hopkins vs tarver i dont like cotto and have no desire to see him fight unless its a really good challanger that has a good chance to win anyway hopkins vs tarver is the far more better ppv simply because i want nonthing more then to see hopkins silence tarver
