Arum and Castillo are CRIMINALS

corrales didnt want to go on with the fight, so why complain about not gettting paid? you fight, you get paid y the hell should the responsobility fall on corrales for this. this is one of the worst posts ever. after last time when he got knocked out, he knows castillio CAN (not necisarily will, but can) beat him. so y should corrales give him a 5 lb handicap to begin with. castillio should just b happy coralles accepted one of the two fights.

The WBC says that Castillo never made the weight targets when they visited him twice during training months and weeks before this fight. They told both Arum and Shaw about it and they didn't seem to care enough to cancel the fight before it came to yesterdays debacle. The blame just doesn't lie with Castillo. Arum was probably telling him Corrales would hopefully agree to fight anyway, just like last time. Now Arum is pretending he doesn't know anything, what a surprise. All of the blame doesn't lie with Castillo, there's plenty to go around, especially where Shaw, Arum and Showtime are concerend.

no offense man but im glad arum and shaw lost money for once, those guys are greedy money grubbing fatasses... hey no prob. i don't care much either. i was just posting what i had read to add more of a perspective from a financial point of view. although, i do think it sucks that diego lost his purse $ because of the other fighter's problems.

Honestly, I pity all of you who are just now realizing Castillo is a dirty Mexican. He's been throwing low blows for 12 rounds as long as I can remember. Watch the 2nd fight against Mayweather. Castillo gets warned several times, and Mayweather is about to throw a fit by the late rounds. Watch the Casamayor fight. Watch ANY Castillo fight. Watch the weigh-in for Castillo-Corrales II. The son of a bitch is a cheater. I'd rather watch grass grow vs. watching his fight vs. Casamayor the guy is only entertaining when the opponent has skills he has no heart, no ethics, no defense, and soon he'll have no fans, no money, no house, no shoes, and no life whatsoever GOOD RIDDANCE!!!

according to what i read, castillo could be facing as much as a $250,000 fine and a suspension by the nevada boxing commission. corrales lost a 1.2 million dollar purse because of castillo and will likely sue. bob arum estimates 1 million in losses. gary shaw's losses were in the hundreds of thousands. so, something has to be done about this. sounds like everybody got screwed - big time. plus, showtime had penalties written in the contratc if castillo couldn't make weight. knowing that, did castillo even read the f'ing contract?

It's not Corrales fault when the limit is 135 (especially for a 2 time), so corrales has every right to be mad. Castillo should've just moved up if he knew he could no longer make 135.

I think he came to fight though, he just couldnt make weight. As for being banned from the sport for life, i dont think so. Even if they did do this on purpose, it should just include a fine and a possible suspension.

JLC already has a fight on the schedule for November 11 vs. Cotto, Arum nad JLC had NO INTENTION of going thru with the Chico fight today, they cheated a world champion out of a million-dollar defense, cheated the NSAC (who should ban BOTH of them from doing business in Vegas), and cheated all of the fans who ordered Showtime, or made the trip to Vegas and wasted an entire weekend.... this is downright CRIMINAL, they should both be banned from the sport for life corrales didnt want to go on with the fight, so why complain about not gettting paid? you fight, you get paid
