Everybody is going on about Gatti v Hatton or Mayweather V Hatton.
IMO they would be very interesting fights but for me I would love to Zab V Hatton
Thoughts?
Like him or not I think it would be a good fight and it would be interesting to see how Hatton performed. Zab's a lefty like Collazo but quicker and punches just as hard, so he could hurt Hatton as collazo did. If Hatton did win it would be 1 of Hatton's BEST wins and it would also open him up to the U.S. fanbase some especially because many question is he over rated. PPL don't like Zab but if a lefty with less speed and power challenged and some ppl feel beat Hatton then it's not crazy to think Zab would challenge him.
one thing we have to understand is callazo is a natrual welter and zab isnt
he is jsut good enough to go up weight and do what he dolike floyd or oscar mosleya nd others who have moved up
hatton is a natrual jr welter but he is strong with good condition so he could fight at 147 but he isnt his best
he would be able to push a zab and floyd around much easier than
callazo but being zab and floyd are faster and better boxers
and msot likely wont stand around for hatton it could be
problems
so if zab and floyd fight hatton the way callazo did then
they lose
if they fight him using their legs skill n speed they win
I know styles make fights but you have to look at the comparison , and yes I realize Kostya hits harder than Hatton.
Kostya TKO's Judah in round 2 with one punch. Hatton made Kostya quit. Judah I think is crafty enough to make it out with out being knocked out with UD LOSS unless Ricky tags him good.

how can u say hatton hasnt taken hes power to 147?
hes power is still there , uever thought luis has just got a better chin then people give him credit for pre hatton
Who said Collazo didint have a chin? Im saying Hattons power isnt that special at 147, Collazo never looked hurt, and while Hatton threw and landed some decent shots, Collazo never really looked hurt.
Zab showed me his chin is decent enough to stand up to shots he can see coming. Ive never seen zab get floored by a punch he knew was coming, and even when he gets caught, ive seen him take some very powerful shots and not go down. In the mayweather fight, he definately showed me this, also, at 147, Hatton isnt as powerful, Collazo's only knockdown..well, we all know how that happened. If you ask me i think Zab presents alot of problems for Hatton, hes left handed, hits harder and is more established at 147. If he keeps it up for long distance and stands up to the assault, he could give hatton a great fight.

Hatton knocks him out. Think of all the punches Collazo ate and ask yourself if Zab could have taken half of them. I'll say Zab is twice a good as boxer as Collazo, so he only gets hit with half those shots. Does his chin hold up to them? I say fuck no.
Hatton by KO in 7.

damn good fight it would be..BUT...hatton would crush Zab with his punishing body shots..Zab make it clear against Pretty Boy that he cant handle too many of those....BUT...he is athletic enough to stay out of range and box hatton...an lets not forget that Zab's power in 2X better than Collazo..
zab's last performance, was just horrible rounds 5-12 ...plus hatton holds and hits and does too much bullshit ,(juda aint going to put up with that) and they would probably both get disqualified for something
yea..thats when the fireworks come in...
seems to be the general consensus, Baldy backed Zab up and he didn't like it either, question is does a win over Zab now carry weight in the US?
I think so, actually. Zab has been overrated; but he's not a bad fighter. He's a top ten welterweight at the very least and is talented enough to beat the majority of the guys out there, so an impressive win over Zab at this point would still make people stand up and take notice.
Remember, he's only been stopped once; and wasn't dominated when he was stopped. He won the first round and got caught in the second. If Ricky and he got together and Ricky dominated and stopped Zab, it might not be as huge a win as it would have been before Baldomir and Mayweather; but it would still be a significant accomplishment, IMO.
The key to a Hatton-Judah fight lies in rounds 5-12 of Mayweather-Judah. Floyd was the aggressor in those rounds, coming forward, forcing Judah back....Zab showed he can't fight in such a mannor, which is why Floyd pulled away and Zab "looked horrible".
Guess which direction Ricky fights in?
Hatton by KO or TKO in about 6 or 7.

Well if it did happen, it won't happen until 1 year from now when Zab's suspension is up.
I'm sure Don can find a way round that - is Judah cooked now as a fighter though?
Zab's too mentally weak, he couldn't handle the constant pressure. Hatton by KO, or DQ win. I wouldn't take this fight if I were Hatton, nothing is gained from it, Judah has already lost two in a row, and the PPV buys for Mayweather-Judah weren't as large as anticipated. People are finally seeing past the hype. Hatton-Gatti/Baldy is the match I would make if I were his handlers.
Yeah, did seem to have problems with Baldy, but Hatton seems to have issues with slick southpaws, I think Hatton would win just because Zab does have a suspect chin.
Good point! This would be a pick em fight.

It would be an interesting fight. But if Zab had trouble with Baldomirs constant pressure, than he would almost surely have more trouble with Hattons constant pressure.

I think you make a really good point... I see it as the perfect next fight for both of them.
Really open America up for Hatton
Zab totally back in the mix if he wins
