He said this during the fight last Saturday. He said that Pac's punches are weaker than Juarez's because you can see it coming and he also said that Pac only throws 1-2's despite praising Pac's adjustment in the 2nd fight against Terible last February. I basically think Stewart don't know what he's talking about. That or he's in love with Juarez or likes discrediting Pac all the time.
Pls vote and discuss.

Definitely, below is the appropriate finale for this thread...he he he he
kamusta pare?
 Holy shit! I really thought that this issue was already settled. :D
Bro, Bro, Bro, enlighten up. Pacquiao's High K.O. percentage maybe attributed to his handspeed and combinations alright {b]BUT the punched that rocked MAB in the 2nd or third round was a solid left. The punch that send JMM down is also a solid left straight not a combination. The punch that rocked Morales early in their fight is also a solid left not a combination. The punch that send Lebdwada in the dreamland is also a solid left not a combination not to mention the one punch that hit Julio that made him do the chicken dance. :p
Common people, Pacquiao came from all the way down from 108 lbs division and he has been hurting top fighters at 130 at present how can you not see that?
I'd have to generally agree with Emanuel Steward here. Rocky Juarez is a devastating puncher, and he is perhaps more dangerous with one shot. Juarez is a better technical boxer. He fights in a boxing shell, eyes wide open anticipating his opponent's next move. As direct consequence of his lethargy, he lulls his opponents to sleep.
When he gets on the inside, his punches are short and acurrate. When coupled with the fact that his opponents have acclimated to his inactivity, he catches them off guard with hard shots thrown with perfect balance that the opponent doesn't see and isn't prepared to handle. Thats why he has so many impressive one punch knockouts in recent years, especially his brutal knockout of Guty Espadas Jr.
Pacquiao, on the other hand, is just a wild animal thirsty for blood. He fights as if he has a bomb on his neck that will detinate if he stops punching for 10 seconds. He is a very active fighter who just buries his opponents with punches, each one designed to end the fight early. As Jim Lampley stated during the broadcast of Pacquiao's fight with Juan Manuel Marquez "Manny Pacquiao is a storm! Juan Manuel Marquez hasn't ever seen anything like that." He fights with an intensity that is unrivaled in boxing and is extremely overwhelming to fighters who are unprepared to handle the combination of Pac Man's southpaw punching power and impossible work rate.
But Pacquiao has alot of faults that inhibit his knockout percentage. He tends to get over excited and throw his punches with a bow and arrow motion, tipping his foes off so they can brace for his shots. Pacquiao is always looking for the knockout, which is another issue. In boxing, it is extremely difficult to knock someone out when your opponent knows that that is your intention. Fighters can relax and brace for punches, which delays the effect of the punishment, enabling them to survive his onslaughts for the time being.
Pacquiao is also fighting at higher weights than he should be. In his first fight as a professional, he weighed in at 106 pounds. After winning his first world title as a flyweight, his body's natural growth required that he climb weight divisions at an accelerated rate. When he won the 122 pound title by knocking out Lehlohonolo Ledwaba, it showed that he could carry his punching power up in weight. While he knocked everyone out he faced as champion, he didn't do it with one shot.
Besides his frightening one shot KO of Emanuel Lucero, he hasn't really gotten his opponents out of there with a single punch in a long time. His signature wins, against Barrera and Morales, were accumulation beat downs, glorified street muggings, that were ended in the championship rounds.
Its really a clash of Juarez's shorter, more accurate blows, to Pacquiao's blunt force trauma. Juarez is better with the one punch, while Pacquiao is more dangerous with the quantity, as well as quality, of his punches.
An unbiased opinion from a self-confessed nuthugger :D

that's true. Morales and Barrera are too easy for Pac IMO. Forget the fact that they're legends. We're talking about right now. These guys are nearing their final decline. Juarez will bring an exciting fight with Manny win or lose. Soto is another guy that has a deceiving record that will cause havoc in the future and get in the mix.
im not ready to say morales career is over at jr. lightweight, barrera, i've noticed him being on the decline for awhile but because of his boxing skills can still compete and barrera still shows shadows of prime barrera which is scary.
soto is a good fighter, but im not really sure about him, i'd have to see him again.
pacquiao has a lot of competition out their for him and at the same time he will be making lots of money
it would be an insane fight, i could easily see these two trade shot for shot the whole fight.

forget Morales. He's going to lose again. I honestly think Juarez, win or lose will fight better than Morales against Pac because he is fresher and he's got alot to prove.

DAMN! I missed the show! Arggggh.
What else he said? He said he'd fight Pac, but I bet he didn't say anything about beating him.
wanted to add....when he said he'd fight pacquiao his expression was clearly that if/when he fights pacquiao he will win. usally rocky always look cool and clam but when asked about fighting pacquiao he answered with a stone cold face and a confident yes.
oh! and he also said he wants to fight humberto soto again.
no. but, when asked about facing pacquiao he said that first he'd have to get past morales and that morales still has a punchers chance but that he think pacquiao may pull out the win but more still is very dangerous.

you showed me 3 rounds only LOL! What about rounds that Juarez won? Not so many?
i was just looking at the third video and barrera was being hit with some bombs
somebody else posted these on youtube i just thought it was cool rounds even though you can't see a lot of action but the crowd was loud and just get the feeling that whoever went to the staples center to see this fight live, will remember this fight for a while as the video shows it was a great crowd and awsome fight.
are you seeing fnf? rocky was asked if he would fight pacquiao and rocky with a stone cold face said YES.

you felt that. The judges that matter didn't. Face reality, Juarez lost. The best he could've gotten was a draw.
i seen barrera go back the whole fight trading shots only when he had to, and juarez shots were hurting barrera more then anything barrera brought to the fight -well maybe 1 or 2 low blows stopped rocky in his tracks. but i felt rocky did enough to win the fight.
(ferocity crying while typing) don't lie to me...please. i felt Rocky did enough to win the fight, though it was very close fight.
a fight between pacquiao and rocky would be awsome and rocky just said he's willing to take on anybody especially somone who has a title or in the elite, point blank, he'd be willing to fight pacquiao :boxing:
