what about Barrios vs. Pacquiao?

Barrios KO'ed Nagy, even though his a rank top in 10 Ring magazine. But Nagy fought only 3x outside of his country, Hungary, in places such as Morocco, United Arab Emirates, and Yugoslavia. Th Ring mag probably rank Nagy was because he was young and undefeated but fought noboy of higher caliber. Nagy traveled to the US, fought a fellow top 10 fighter and lost. Barrios has an impressive punching power, but Pacquiao is not Nagy. I am not saying Pacquiao can't be knockout, any fighter can be KO. But Pacquiao is quicker, faster, and has way a lot of more experience than Nagy. Pacquiao has more guts than Nagy. Barrios and Pacquiao are both 5'6, fights in the same division(even though by fight time, weight is probably diffirent)but Barrios will not win easily against Pacquiao and vice versa. This is gonna be one hell of a fight if it happens. Besides Nagy, the only other fighter who Barrios fought as a top 10 fighter was Freitas and he lost. Nagy might be a top 10 fighter, but his a patsy.

Barrios gives me the impression that he's afraid of Pac anyways. Remember like few months ago he was asked who he'd really want to fight? He said he wanted Barrera and never mentioned Manny. When asked, he just said, Barrera is more popular than Manny and is just a legend. Guess what, Barrera is an easier foe and Pac is a legend killer.

barrios was a mention, including juarez before pac camp decided on larios. that was a genius of a decision, barrios seems too big for pac (at least last saturday), but hope it happens soon

Pacquiao by TKO in one of the late rounds. Barrios is the fighter that will bring Pac the most exciting slugfest he's been in. Forget the Mexican greats, they're too easy for Pacquiao and will KO them again. Pac will just pick the round when he decides to KO them. Barrios will make Pac work, but he'll still beat Barrios.

I'd like to see this fight Pac vs Barios but personally i dont know the fighting style of barrios i only saw him once vs naggy, and w/ only one punch to the body ouch!!!! that was nasty!!! if that puch hit the jaw of pacman ouch!!!! he wont wake up for a day, hehehehe!!! i remember when pac faught hussein he was hit w/ left jab then he went downt. how much more if barrios will bang his jaw, he'll call a surgeon for the operation of his jaw hahaha!!!!! Mr roach is wrong for concentrating w/ pacs abdomen hitting it w/ a stick, this time he should hit pacman at his jaw w/ a 4x4 wood. that would help to tolerate barrios punch.

Pac had his chin checked and was KO'ed twice by guys you have never heard of with names you couldnt pronounce even if you had. Barrios had his checked and was TKO'ed by Popo. Both are murderous punchers. Just looks to me like Barrios has the better chin. If Pac lets Barrios hit him like he let MAB or Morales hit him...he goes out. I watch some clips of the fight when Pacman was KO'ed, but i believed he was hit on the body instead of his chin, around the stomach/chest area. On his 2nd KO lost, he had problems reaching the weight limit, was strip of the title, and basically no energy due to fatigue of reaching the weight limit. But he was knockdown getting hit in the head by Hussein.

you think, i am compelled to think barrios can break down pac. they both are so intense it's really hard to pick. but barrios has got an edge that i haven't seen since watching aaron pryor. we ought to petiton for this fight and see if they'll make it happen. sounds good if that would happen. Would be a great fight, and Id pick Pacquiao by KO... Barrios is very aggressive and has got some good power, not to mention he's a scary looking mutharf*cka (not that it matters), but from what ive seen Barrios is very wide with his punches and throws a bit wildly, Pacquiao has power, an edge in timing a slight edge in punch accuracy, and a huge speed advantage as well in which can win him the fight in my opinion, wont be easy though...

DLH would drop almost 30lbs to fight at lightweight Trinidad would drop damn near the same to fight at jr welter? it's what fighters do..... what your point?

I wouldn't mind seeing Freitas and Barrios 2. The first one was a great fight.
