Barrera vs Juarez, good decision?

it's a good job for MAB that they don't fight 15 rounds these days, cos Juarez was coming on strong in the last 4 rounds. I still give it MAB 7-5 rounds.

I had it 115-113 Juarez, but am no way disappointed in a draw. It was a very good, close fight that could have gone either way. I'd say that qualifies as a draw. i agree 100%

I had it 115-113 for Barrera. If you are saying the left hook that was landed on Barrera in the 3rd round and it hurt him you are wrong. Yea he got hit but he didn't wobble. He tripped over himself moving back. Watch it again and see. But a Draw is ok.. Good fight.. And Barrera still has his title.

i thought barerra did enough to get the decision, especially since the champion is given the edge. it was a good fight though, i'd love to see a rematch.

do these commentators have personal stakes in hbo. they are biased, especially last week. they kiss too much ass, and i think it affects the way they call the fight. they love the favorites.. Stop harping on about last week, it was a fair decision. I scored the MAB-Juarez fight 114-114. Another fair decision.

I scored the fight 115-113 for Barrea. I agree HBO was lovin Barrera, but i think he won. I think the time is getting close for Barrera to hanf up the gloves tho. He was fighting off pure heart, he looked exhausted in that fight. Pretty good fight, but i though Barrera won. I would have rather seen Juarez win then see a draw. I hate draws.

i'm in australia too mate, and i think it WAS a fair decision............i watched the fight, and it is so difficult listening to the HBO commentators as they are as bias as fuck!.....I'd say a pretty fair decision! it was a fair decision. There were many close rounds and those rounds, Juarez was really putting on the pressure on Barrera and had him backpedalling.

IMHO I thought it was a decent call....I'm not sure how to score the 11th but if you gave it to Barrera then my card was a 5rds Barrera 6 rds Rocky......You really have to try and phase out the HBO commentators though because the show HUGE favoritism and they were on Barrera's nuts this fight.

I guess it was fair, I thought if anything I thought it should have gone to Juarez,I thought HBO was a little biased towards Barrera(how many times can you mention his GREATNESS in a one round?).It was Juarez's first big fight,and I thought he performed well.

i had it for barrera as well but i think the judges has the better view of the hard punches. plus barrera's face and bloody nose might have influenced the judges to give the close rounds to juarez

i really thought it was a bad decision. This was one of the few times i agreed with Letterman, Berrara won 8 rounds and should have been awarded the fight. But hats off to rocky, he should alot of heart

it was a good decision. barera was only landing jabs. juarez was landing the big power shots and even hurt barera. last week they should of had the same decision. a draw between collazo and hatton.

I don't think it was a draw, I had 116-112 for Barrera, he fought a young hard puncher but outboxed him for the most part. Rocky fought great but he's a dick saying it was only a draw b/c it was in Barreras home town, he should thank god he got a draw instead of the loss the I personally felt he shoould have got.
