why does PBF wanna fight DLH?

PBF wants the fight for one reason: C-A-S-H , I'm not tallking about Johnny either.

Think Judah is more than he is? Kellerman and others? :D You love boxing? then you have to live by it. It's not kellerman's opinion that counts. The promoters and the boxing governing bodies' decides who fights who and that's how it goes all this time. It's always money talk baby! :p i'm a fan of Zab but my beef is that he plays too fucking much....the dude is good playa...but he, like you said, is too much for himself...he needs a good hard nose disciplined trainer thgat will check his ass...

I can understand that he wants the money, but hes risking a lot of fans. After DLH hangs up his gloves, his fans are gonna want to look for a new fighter to follow closely and such. If PBF beats DLH, de la hoyas fans are gonna resent Mayweather, and are prolly gonna hate him. The same thing happened to DLH. When he beat Julio cesar chavez. A lot of fans were looking for a figher to follow, and when DLH destroyed chavez, he lost TONS of potential fans. I would love to see this fight, but PBF is risking a lot of money fights down the road on PPV, because hes simply not gonna be as big an atraction as he could be. So he can take over the GOLDEN throne....

PPL keep bashing Judah probably because they had high expectations of him based on his amateur career and hype. He's still a 2 time champion who can give anybody a test when he's in shape, laugh all you want but Judah would be 1 of the best win's on many of the fighter's resumee that PBF hater's love and pump up. So I guess this just another form of hating, just didn't know ppl could laugh at a fighter that's accomplished more then their respective favorite fighter's.

Judah got hit with a nice shot, and tried to get up too fast because he has a huge ego. If Judah wasn't a showboat, that would've been a very interesting fight. Don't forget Judah won the first round pretty convincingly.

Probably because he would make a more money then any fight he's had, and the "star's" of the sport draw the mainstream/ casual fan, and Oscar is the fight that can do that. It would be a tough test especially at 154, and if he win's some of Oscar's fan's will become PBF fan's and some will hate him but pay money to see him lose! That's good for business, but I'm sure if he win's a couple of ppl will hate and say beating DeLaHoya at 154 isn't nothing and it was a picked fight blah blah. Yet they acknowledge he even looks small at welter, the usual whining because they want him to fight they're favorite fighter. The same as any normal person switching job's for more money, or a free agent signing with another team in a diff sport for a better offer. Let's not act like he's tryna fight some nobody!

I think if PBF shows nothing but respect for DLH leading up to the fight and doesn't talk shit, and if he wins and is very humble... I think DLH fans will like mayweather for it and hop bandwagons sort've as a "passing of the torch" but if he just acts like himself, i can see what you're saying as a possibility.

Pbf is seeking recognition, legacy and big money and all of these is with DLH. So irregardless of the would be effect he should take the risk. You don't take risks? Then you don't go now where. EXACTLY. PBF wants big fights and DLH is a huge fight that will add to his legacy and fatten his pocket.

i don't know his reasons, but i'd think it's the same thing as with dlg and chavez. he wants to beat a legend. you box to be the best, and if you have a chance to fight someone like de la hoya and it's a possibility of happening, why wouldn't you want to do it? his true fans'll still stick by him.
