heres the stats shows hatton deserved to win i would like to see a rematch but does he really need to prove anything
stats:
Total punches thrown, Collazo 712, Hatton 741. Total punches connected, Collazo 213, Hatton 259. Connection Percentage for Collazo was 30 percent, Hatton 35.
Everyone needs to get over this, hatton was hitton was gettin hit with harder punches than he was hittim them with, hatton didnt deserve the fight but he go it so fuck it jst another reason why we should all like bowling lol
collazo won the fight and hatton had hbo backing him which led to collazo getting screwed
thats the bottom line and thats the type of reason why boxing is and will remain in the shape it is until there is a major major change
so easy to cast aside my theories about racists cause many people on these forums are apologists for racist i have come to find
makes me wonder about them
at least i speak only the truth
Maybe you need to go to Boston. Or maybe you should have been at the fight. Youd of seen there were plenty or PR's there and it was a diverse, fun crowd. Get your head out of your ass.
hey undefeated my man let me ask you
ok your from ny and are PR right?
so let me ask you this
you go to boston and a white guy picks a fight with you who the cops gonna side with you or the white guy picking himself up off the sidewalk from boston?
no matter your answer let me also ask
who do you think won the fight and do you feel collazo had the home advantage since he was fighting in america?
Whose to say you wouldn't be picking up your ass from the sidewalk?

Listen punch stat numbers dont mean anything. If you want to count punches why dont you watch amateur and olympic boxing this here are the pros where they recognize power and damage over volume.
With that said I still think Hatton won 114-113 and though the judging was fair although I wouldn't argue with those that have Collazo winning...it was just that close.
Don't act like Boston is a bunch of whiteys wearing hoods and burning crosses. There is plenty of race in boston.Police and civilians alike. Were not all white down here by any means.Have you people ever even been to Boston?

so he could a least Try to shut the world......
I scored the fight an even draw. But thats only because I didn;t give Collazo a 10-8 round in the last.Which he might have deserved. My point being that it was very close in my eyes. And not a clear win for Ricky.Thats why I think Collazo deserves a rematch. But I wouldn't consider Hatton a coward or anything if he didn't take the rematch.
total white judges 3
total white refs 1
total matches hatton signed to hbo for 3
total boston population white
total chance a brooklyn fighter in boston has of beating a white guy without knocking him out 0
rematch definitely a must
so hatton will opt to fight ben rabah instead cause he thinks carlos maussa is a notable opponent
The only people that think Hatton lost are Puerto Ricans and Hatton haters. People with no biased, not white, dominately gave the decision to Hatton by 1 - 2 points. Its not even about Collazo winning that Hatton haters want, its about Hatton losing.
LMAO @ comment the American judges gave decision to a foreign boxer because hes white!
I would like to see Hatton fight someone more of interest, but have to say, if this is true that he said he would give a rematch, and then reneged it, that is bothersome: This will be the 2nd Champion he told "No" to a rematch, that doesn't look good, especially for the "Honor" of the sport.
Mayweather has to know now that he must win because there will be "NO REMATCH"
I wonder if Hatton loses his title to somebody inside the ring, if he would want a rematch?
I think there should be a rematch. The fight was close. Collazo Hurt Hatton. Collazo knows what to do now. He might even KO Hatton this time. You never know. If Hatton doesn't get a big fight then i think they should fight again. If he going to fight again i hope it's with a good fighter.

See i think it takes more than out landing, what if im throwing nothing but show shiners or i cant hit u cleanly yet im outlanding u and u keep snapping my head back and landing flush then u should get the round because u were effective and I was not.
i understand, but this is clearly a hypothetical situation where our punches land cleanly. its just to prove a point.

Oh man, how the fuck can you bring up someones color? fuckin idiot. Hatton won the fight..get over it,
True, its also about controlling rounds. for example, if i outland you 20-10 for 8 rounds but for 4 rounds you outland me 40-5, then i still should win the fight. (assuming no one gets hurt, kd'd or staggered.

Punchstats dont mean anything, you being in a boxing forum should know that. Its about who is more effective and lands the more effective shots throughout the larger portion of the fight.
