his agressive style wasn't so effective against Collazo... Hatton was just bullyin Collazo throughout the fight, it LOOKED like he was wearing Collazo down. but look, at the end of the fight, Hatton was the one who was worn down and hurt, not Collazo.

Hatton took on HIS toughest competition in the division tonight and won fair and square. Notice I said HIS TOUGHEST competition and not the ranked number ones. If Mayweather stays at 147 then Collazo would be his second toughest competition.

Hatton=........a tactical Mayorga. He was not impressive against a guy who was supposed to be an easy fight for him in the U.S. Hatton almost got KTFO! If you box Hatton, he will get fustrated. All you have to do with him is fight him like Trinidad and Oscar did Mayorga. They fight the same way except Hatton is a bit more skillful........just a bit.

Anyone who said this was a "robbery" hasn't watched much boxing. It was a close fight...but it ridiculous to cry that either way..it's like the boy who cried wolf..save that for the real robberies..

i thought hatton won by a hair, that 1st round kd really helped him. collazo was landing some good shots in the 12th and i thought "oh shit if hatton goes down it's over for him" but he held together, clinched and tried to get some shots off and showed his heart.

i think the fight could of went either way but the fight was a lot closer then the judges had it

clean punching, effective aggressiveness , ring generalship, and defense are not scored on an equal plane. its a heavy emphasis on clean punching which Collazo clearly got the better of. Hatton got a gift decision. and theres no bias against euro fighters, Prince Naseem is my 2nd favorite fighter ever.
