An in shaper Toney 210-215lbs still is a feather fisted puncher at heavy and wouldnt beat any of the belt holders and loses to 90% of the top 20! JT always has found a way to choke in his mega fights...please name me one big fight he didnt choke in? Oh and btw the Jirov fight was for CW on FnF :rolleyes: "FnF"....Do you mean ESPN2 Friday Night Fights ? If so....you are wrong. It was an HBO telecast.

This thread is way out of line and not even funny really. Very lamely written, but true, Toney is a disgrace to boxing at the current time. Nobody wants the heavyweight champ of the world to be a fatass, and he doesn't deserve to hold a belt ever again until he learns to get his eating under control. It's truly pathetic.

I guess Nunn , Ko' Holyfield, Barkley,and not losing in years and being a HofFamer means nothing? Maybe you need to lookat some of those other guys resumee and if Toney is so weak then why hasn't he been done away with yet? And this is a 37 yr old Toney that should say something about these guys and he beat Guinn. I know he's not Ali but he's solid!

But the division isn't all that right now, I agree he's not the biggest puncher there but his defensive skills still make him hard to hit.Watch the Rahman fight and you'll see and most agree that an in shape Toney easily wins that fight. He still landed clearer shots and came out with a draw and seeing as Rahman is 1 of the better HW's and was in the best shape he's ever been in. Why woulden't you think that Toney could beat the majority of the HW's when in decent shape? I'm not saying he coulden't be beat as well but he'd give them a run for their money. And seeing as he's not a true HW and these guys are you should give him some credit!

James Toney's Power! A few days ago, James Toney was walking in the streets of Detroit and happen to see a Burger King on the other side of the street he was walking on. Oh No! said James.. I'm not going to go in, I just want to peep through the window to see if they have gotten anything new on the menu. So James crossed the street and approach the restaurant window. Unable to see from so far away, James has decided to come in, but assured himself that he will not buy anything. Once he walked in and started reading the menu, he noticed that a new Texas Double Whooper was winking at him. "What if this is just an introductory offer?" James asked himself.. "What if I will not have a chance to try it? I know what I'll do, I'm gonna buy it and put it in my fridge at home.. save it for later" Continued on James So James buys some new Whoppers and continues on Home... After he came home, he put the new treat in his fridge and moved on to watch TV on the couch. But the though of having the new Whoppers would not leave him alone... "Let me at least smell the new flavor" he said to himself.. "I will not even unwrap it!" So James went to the fridge and took the whoppers out to smell the delicatessen through the paper wrap... "Boy it smells good! I wonder what they put in there?! I just want to look at what's inside, but I will NOT eat it" So James unwrapped his purchase, looked inside and put it unwrapped on the table in front of him. He stared at it for a few minutes, which seamed a lifetime... grabbed it and bit a half of it immediately! James smiled to himself for a while "I did NOT want to eat it, but still did! Oh Boy! Now that's some will power" Toney is a sure Hall of Fame inductee playa so you should keep that stupid ass joke to yourself.....
