Let's list boxers that appeard to intimidate their opponents:
I would like to get the ball rolling by naming these three:
Sonny Liston
George Foreman
Mike Tyson
u can't really go wrong with tht list :D
Tyson after the Spinks fight was the most intimadating
Foreman after he destoryd Frazier 4 sur was the most
intimanating fighter off all, :D
yeah, after foreman ran over frazier when frazier was the undefeated champion coming off of a win over the great ali, he was the most intimidating fighter of all time. foreman was also undefeated and looked like a machine, the closest thing to a real-life ivan drago boxing has ever seen.
Nah Lacy's intimindating cos if his power, but he's a nice guy in real life and wouldn't say he wanted to kill you like Tyson would.
lacy is as intimindating as a wet willy...
Hagler with the shiny dome, mustache, dark skin, and didn't smile demeanor that was all business was intimadating.
Benn was like Hagler and wore the block shorts a lot to make him look straight evil.
Iron Mike has to be the biggest intimadator against B fighters. those guys were shaking think about the KO.
Dempsey has to be up there as all time intimdator.
Max Baer
LaMotta might be up there. You knew that guy was going to knock you out
yeh foreman must have been the most intimidating after dismantling foreman and norton it is really strange that ali called liston the scariest
he dismanteled himself, did he?
i remember watching a film of Foreman pounding at the heavy bag before the Ziare fight with Ali..he looked like a machine, scary looking just pounding away.
i also remember i was on jury service a few years back, and Nigel Benn was on trial for beating up a man in a night club (i think the guy nearly lost his eye or something), i was going up to the Jury rest area and he was standing there intimidating all the jurors, he did look like a scary fucker.
on a side note i was called out to be a juror on his case that day but out of the fifteen called, i was not chosen for the final 12 jurors
Tyson, Foreman and Liston are the obvious choices
it must be pretty intimidating to stand across the ring against Valuev the man is a monster.

mike tyson. people would rather retire then fight that guy. He was also crazy so ud never know what to expect from him. I'm sure holyfield didnt expect that bite
It's a different kind of intimidating but I'd say Roy Jones. He's not mean looking... you know, the kind of guy you wouldn't want to meet in an alley.
But he didn't intimidate with power... he intimidated you with his speed. I don't know how many fighters (well, probably every one up until Tarver) went into a fight with Roy saying they were going to out punch him, etc. but ended up being "dazzled" by his blinding speed. Most fighters started out the first round or so throwing punches but once they started getting countered, they ended up being too scared to throw punches. This led to many, many somewhat boring Roy Jones' victories.
Now me personally, I would not want to have been in the ring with Mike Tyson at any point in his career. He's got a intimidating build, speed, power, he bites and he's got a general disdain for all human life.
John the beast Mugabi had the potential to be Intimidating at one time in his carrer but he got lazy.
I think Mugabi sort of had a padded record but it makes me think of Gerald McClellan who had to be one of the most indimidating boxers both in the amateure ranks and as a professional before the unfortunate end of his career.
