I said this on another thread but the look on Mayo's face when he realized he had gotten dropped in the first was priceless. The first round knockdown look on Mayorga's face was indeed great, but truley the best was the look after being knocked down in the sixth, it was priceless! That was his, "I'm totally fucked!" look. Awsome!

Floyd's punches are fast, but he also has a reach problem when it comes to DLH. DLH is much lengthier and this will allow him to give Floyd problems. Even if Floyd's punches are fast, it doesn't matter as fara s hurting Oscar goes. Oscar may get hit, but he won't be going down or being rocked. He didn't see the uppercut from Mayorga in the 3rd round, and it was a BEAST oh a shot, and Oscar took it.

I agree...great fight tonite, huh? very good i was at the strip club watching it. it was funny cause they stopped the music and all the dances and turned the volume up for the fight and every1 was watching. oh and the titties and ass's were great also :D and steak

At first I thought De La Hoya should fight Mayweather. Now that i think about it though, he had problems against Mosley because of his speed. It will probably be the same with Mayweather. there 1 to 1 in my book. he learned how to deal with speed in those fights he might be able to give PBF his hardest punch as of yet

We have a lot of DLH doubters here. It wouldn't surprise me if many of these people also said before the fight how Mayorga would expose the lack of heart in DLH. Here is the bottom line: De La Hoya looked great. He took Mayorga's powerful shots better than even Tito did. He fucked Mayorga up even worse than Tito did. Oscar is no Tito so saying Oscar will get outboxed like Tito did vs Wright is a weak point. Oscar has real boxing skills. No one expected Oscar to jack Mayorga up in that manner.
