Where was the good ole HBO crew??!

my opinion, and a few others who watched the fights: this team sucked! i forgot they even had lewis a few times because he doesn't say a fucking word. obviously he doesn't get paid by the word. simply, the whole crew sucks! they suck, period. i'm not saying that lampley and merchant were great, but much better than these fools and a better chemistry as well. and kellerman does not know how to score a fucking fight. he scored a 10-8 round based on what? absolutely nothing. paraphrasing kellerman, he said something like this during one of the fights: 'well, there was no knockdowns and there wasn't a lot of damage done, but i scored 10-8.' that's basically what he said, not a direct quote, but how fucking stupid does that sound? i know this sounds like a rant, but it is going to majorly piss me off to hear these guys every time i see an hbo after dark card.

haha guys they dont do boxing after dark on hbo. they switched teams so now they only cover world championship boxing and hbo ppv. they will be back for all the fights except the boxing after dark ones. but yeah. lennox needs to work on his commentary a little and i dont like kellerman at all

Lewis and that other guy sucked so bad and Kellerman was good. The HBO crew should be Foreman(or RJJ) Jim Lampley and Max Kellerman.

Lennox could put just about anyone to sleep with his commentary. He has 0 flavor and offers only the most basic information in his commentary. These guys need to quit being nice too...at least Kellerman took a stance on the fight and let you know what the fuck was up. Charles just sat there and, "raheem straight right....freitas straight right...errybody in the ring straight rights"... Watching Lewis made me long for the days of Big George or Roy Jones. At least those guys have personality.

B.A.D. was just bad Those announcers did not mesh well. Fran does not have an announcer voice and seemingly has no boxing knowledge or TV exerience. If you notice how many time he stumbled over names or statements, I got to the point I felt sorry for him. Max and Fran were not prepared and were obviously reading the whole opening segment. HBO may not have had time to prepare these guys but they have a looooonnnng way to go to be average.

Merchant and Lampley are the best... It felt weird today lol... They wack...

It was pretty boring. When/what is the next B.A.D. telecast?

You know whos fucking good? The solo boxeo team,Ricardo Celis especially,I know he does english well because he did a PPV recently i think,I forget for which fights though. Merchant/Lampley/Celis KO1 your crappy ass dream teams.

Al Berndstein T.K.O. all three of those guys in Announcing. In fact, he T.K.O.'s everyone except Lampley IMO. My allstar cast would be: Berndstein, Tessiatore, and Lampley. Badass shit right there. I like all three guys alot. Tess gets annoying as fuck after a while.I bet youd be hard pressed to tell the diffrence between a fake FNR3 round by round and a live FNF round by round.

I'm only thinking of people I'm not annoyed by. Berndstein, Tessiatore, and Lampley all are exciting announcers. Al breaks the fight down well...and adds some great history. Between Lampley and Tessiatore: We'd have all the excitement we need. Lampley is fucking hilarious and exciting. Tessiatore is exciting. yeah,trust me he holds back on TV the guy is funny as hell ..on top of it all he knows his sports
