How can anyone be excited for the fight this weekend?

the threadstarter is a classic hater....enough said and he looks like a retard anyways. on a more important note, i think byrd will give wlad a tougher fight than people think, but i see wlad winning in the end.

It already happened. Byrd hasn't done shit lately and neither has Wlad. I personally think it will go the distance and it's in Germany... so there's no chance Byrd will get the decision. This ultimately is an indication about Wlad fans. They don't care who Wlad fights, even a blown up cruiser he beat years ago. They're the only fans that I know of that don't want their fighter to fight the favorite. I don't have a favorite fighter per se. But I like to watch Mayweather and I have been vocal about him not fighting the best. NO WLAD fan has been even remotely critical of who he fights. Why is this? All this to me, just buttresses my theory that the Klitschkos are the Great Hypes. What's even sicker is that these Wlad fans don't even discuss boxing if it's not the Klitschkos. This is my beef. Also, casual fans seem to like just the heavyweight division. They, like I use to think the midgets below them were for circus acts. But as you become a fan of the sport, you appreciate the lower divisions more. That's why I think 90% of the Klitschko fans are casual fans so there will always be friction between them and those that watch the entire sport. Just my two cents. Who had Sam Peter beaten to even be considered a challenger? You heard right... he's hand selecting his opponents. This fight happened years ago. Byrd is no threat. Wlad pussy footed around to fighting Byrd again instead of going through who many saw as the man at heavy (Brewster). Wlad has a record of not rematching the people that kick his ass. Since his brother can't fight his battles, he's just going to avoid him. Homie, homie, be honest with me, which of your favorite fighters did Wlad defeat? maybe we'll see something diferent here on Saturday. Since the 1st fight, Byrd hasn't lost, while Wlad's chin has been exxxposed big time gainst deifferent type of fightas. Comin to this fight, Byrd might have a different mentality seeng Wlad get dropped many times. All this despite the fact that Byrd cannot crack. We'll see I guess. I fo one aint overly excited, but definitely I'm interested and will not miss this fight.

i really dont see how this fight can be exciting. sure it may lead to exciting fights in the future but this fight is going to be a turd.

Even a non boxing champion should be excited of the propsect of a unified champion. We all know that Wladimir has a better chance of unifying the titles than Byrd. Even an absolute hater has to realize that Wlad is a more exciting fighter than Byrd and better for boxing. Byrd is a nice guy but I hope he retires after this fight with his health and his mind intact. He hasn't had a big convincing win in years.
