Manfredo Jr vs. Jeff Lacy?

i have a feeling lacy's next fight might be a first round KO or an early round. manfredo is not a super middle. he should drop down he doesnt have the power to be in the division with lacy and calzaghe. manfredo IS a supermiddle though...he bloats up to over 180 pounds

Yeah I hope Manfredo doesn't get too cocky after the Scott Pemberton win.

How is it not a right move for Manfredo? I think everyone boxes to step up. And it's that time. Stop hugging on the Lacy nuts. Everyone is beatable. This is a good move for Manfredo. I will go for Manfredo just because i like him.

lol asif Calzaghe will face Manfredo next. this is not even remotely suggestable. If it had anything to do with Warren he would. He wants to keep him fighting and putting on the shows.I certainly hope he does'nt, he spent the biggest part of his prime ticking over. Needs the big ones now :boxing: :boxing:

needs to happen i think this fight is very interesting. needs to happen. i think manfredo will do better than everyone thinks , of course lacy has a power advantage but manfredo has decent defense and a very good chin and heart. lacy is a great kid but kinda one dimentional. i respect lacy but i honestly belive this would be a close fight. it comes down to ring generalship who will make the other guy fight his fight.

Manfredo doesnt have the dicipline to fight in his natural weight class. If he fights Lacy he'll soon realize what its like against a bigger man (who isnt punch drunk like Pemberton) who can take his best shot and dish loads out more power. That Calzaghe thing must be a rumor. Calzaghe has said he's looking for two more big money fights and then he's probalby retiring. Manfredo is no money fight.

Manfredo Jr's people are discussing a possible fight with Jeff Lacy with Gary Shaw. i think this is a big mistake for Manfredo. i agree with you, but i'm really looking forward to Lacy's next fight, and i've never been a particular fan of Manfredo. ;)

Jeff Lacy vs. Manfredo would be a great comeback fight. Manfredo vs. Calzaghe would be extremely stupid for promoters to put together. I see it as a huge step down in competition from Joe if it were to happen.

Calzaghe would give Manfredo the boxing lesson of his life. Lacy would also make quick work of him.

roach said that there was a Manfredo-Calzaghe fight in the works but his promoter said that his wasnt the case.

I agree it's a big mistake for Manfredo Jr., but it will be a good first fight back for Lacy who was beat down bad-- This will give him the chance to vent some frustration, but I don't think it will happen just yet--- I also read a topic on here saying Manfredo wanted to fight Calzaghe- I don't think he's worthy enough to fight any one of the two--- Manfredo Jr's people are discussing a possible fight with Jeff Lacy with Gary Shaw. i think this is a big mistake for Manfredo.
