Mosley vs Mayweather

are you kidding me! floyd showed TONS of class last saturday powerless (PBF) vs. classless (zab) i never said he didnt show class. i said he didnt show power and that zab didnt show class.

This would've been a great fight....At 135. At 135, Mosley had such a size and strength advantage, as well as the hand and foot speed to beat anyone. He was easily the greatest lightweight of the 90's. But now hes a little long in the tooth, and has been in alot of rough fights over the years. Mayweather, on the hand, Mayweather has never been beaten up and is much better technically. Now, this fight would be a technical mismatch. Floyd Mayweather Jr. would win a clear decision, with Mosley winning a few rounds on will alone.

i think mosely would test mayweather and win mosely for a little man has balls hes fought everbody from 130 all the way to 154 thats hart and mayweather hasnt had a real fight since castillo when i think he lost mosely has chin hart power and speed if he stops lifting every tool to beat mayweather i dought roger gives mosely a chance plus he wants to fight the other pretty boy oscar mayweather will win hes washed up i think mayorga has a chance

1) everyone knows Vargas doesn't have a great chin and can be hurt and even knockdown. Mosley didn't even hurt Vargas and was lucky Vargas cuts or puffs up around the brow easily. the same can be said for PBF vs. zab. zab has a very weak chin hes been rocked by guys with no power. b4 the fight PBF said it was going to be flawless vs. jawless but it turned out to be poweless vs classless

I think Shane's confidence got a big boost by the Vargas fight. I agree that it was a bit rattled coming off the Wright fights

Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing this fight.Sugar Shane still has some speed left.But I would have loved to see them fight at lightweight.I think they had similiar styles,but Shane had more power at lightweight.

I like Mosley but I don't even know if this fight should even happen.Mosley vs. Mayweather at 135 would have been huge with no clear favorite imo.PBF UD12.

Floyd always does great against the orthodox stance with his straight left. If we get the Mosley of old like in DLH for his 2 victories than we will have a good fight. Floyd posses faster hands and has age on his side Mosley has experience and a good chin Mayweather is smart but Mosley is smarter Mosely lacks confidence where Mayweather is still invincable due to his undefeated record(also the case for Lacy but he found out the Hard way) Mayweather slows down off a good body attack(look at Castillo fight for instance) Mosley has/had a good body attack Mayweather uses combinations where Mosley tends to throw one at a time as of late. Floyd fast on feet Mosley now a straight foward fighter. My prediction is Floyd by UD but I do see it as a one sided victory I see Mosley actually giving Mayweather alittle problems for the first 5 rounds then become frustrated loss his confidence and begin to lose it from there without being knocked down or seriously injured. a fair assessment. good k...

If you think FLoyd beats the lightweight Mosley who knocked out everyone or the 2000 Mosley that decisively defeated Oscar then you are dreaming. I still think Mosley would win because he's fast and strong and a great fighter. He wouldn't mentally check out of the fight like Zab because he's a true champion. Stoppage? Come on, Shane's never been stopped and he's fought guys who do more damage than Floyd Mayweather he and ocsar split their fights

i think floyd is too fast, too sharp and too accurate for mosley. i also believe floyd will have the advantge seeing as he will be more comfortable with his weight

He excuted little offense or threw few punches before clinching and Vargas is only average in cutting off the ring. Yet somehow Vargas kept tying up Mosley. Mosley is faster than Vargas in hand speed and foot speed and didn't use either. He didn't wheel vargas are move laterally and try to hit Vargas or counter. That's a sign of a shot fighter when they couldn't do what they used too. 3)Mosley did less against a tamed down version of Vargas. The way Vargas fought was offensively worse than when he fought DLH. DLH did more against a more dangerous and "prime" Vargas. Another sign of being a shot fighter.

lets just hope that this fight happens soon b4 shane gets any older.

Though Judah is not as good a fighter as Mosley, I actually believe he posed more problems for Floyd than would Mosley. Zab is a powerful, sneaky puncher. Firing quickly from different angles, & a lefty stance. Mosley is a far more orthodox (& I don't just mean right-handed) fighter than Zab......& I just don't think at this stage in his career that Shane is gonna bring anything special which would get to Floyd. Floyd by unanimous decision. I agree. Shane has lost his punching speed and often opts to throw one at a time (although he did throw some quicker combinations like the Mosely of old in the Vargas bout). I just think the difference in quickness would show up and Mosely wouldn't be able to land anything significant upstairs that would hurt Mayweather. I wouldn't be an easy night for Floyd, but I think he'd take a decision.

imo, Floyd is too good, even for a prime Mosley. for some reason i can't see Mosley's style being effective against Floyd. but i see Sugar giving Floyd trouble early. Floyd UD.

Easy win for PBFloyd. People say he struggled with Judah. Yeah right. Judah won 3 of the first 4 rounds. Then, PBFloyd took over completely. Easy work. PBFloyd is the best in the game and by time he's done will be known as one of, if not the, greatest of all time.
