JMM reviewed the video tape of his fight with Chris John and said that he deserved to be the winner. He scored the fight 118-115 in his favor.
He claimed that the low blows ruled by the referee were actually above the belt.

Can anyone who speaks Spanish check the article and give some more insight?
The reporter also thought he won.
the reporter wasnt gonna argue with him even if he thought otherwise and we dont even know if the reporter watched the whole fight
i dont care what the reporter thought really man even if he thought chris john won i dont care
it was a mexican website wasnt it or at least a latin website so its not out of the question that the reporter was supporting his countryman
jmm thought he won
hmm no biased opinion there
wouldnt be surprised if hes right
he should go back and put in the pacman fight now and watch that first round
see if he also points out how he was down 15 seconds the 3rd time he was dropped

Not hating or anything but this pic should've been in "Pics of owned fighters" thread :D

He's wearing a girly pink shirt and he's watching the fight probably inside the locker room of a stinky crappy gym. The photographer owned him big time.
I'll be able to watch the fight tomorrow and I'll give my honest scorecard.
I thought the samething.
After seeing him in this shirt, he deserves to have lost the fight with John. :(

brain hurts .
It says that Marquez saw the video at a gym, (Im assuming with the other boxers of the gym). That Marquez felt he won the fight. And that this reporter felt Marquez won the fight.
That Marquez was the aggressor and John was on the defence then tried to counter punch Marquez, but Marquez was still more effective.
The first two rounds were won by Marquez by using an effective right hand sending Johns head to the ceiling with one punch. Marquez keep the aggresion in the 3rd and 4th but John coutnered effectivly and the rounds were tie. 5th round John took the fight to Marquez but Marquez was supperier to the body and head attack.
6rd, john came with a varity of right hands and won this round.
Rounds 7 and 8, say a seris of exchange of punchs along with right hands and these rounds were tie.
9th, round Marquez broke Johns defence with punchs to the head and body that were thrown in bunchs.
10th, ref deducted a point from Marquez but regardless this was Johns round who also connected a good right hand.
11th, round was a tie round but again Ref removed a point from Marquez.
12th, was one of Marquez best rounds and John tried his best to engage in retaliation but at the end Marquez was superior with his attack.
What could we do we with the descision but refute the descision to the ibf - Marquez said.
Although I think that Juan Manuel Marquez is an exceptional fighter (when he wants to be) he definately lost that fight John used that jab in his face all night and Marquez give up a major payday with Pacquiao to fight him must be off his head
Where did you see the fight?
I'll be watching it tomorow, but haven't seen it yet.
