Yeah I can't see Hatton/Cotto going to whole way, unless Cotto can keep Hatton off him with his power. I could see it either going Hattons way by TKO after dropping Cotto a few times, or Cottos way after just inflicting so much physical damage on Ricky that he cannot continue.

what about floyd??? he should obviously be in there, considering he beat both corrales and castillo... He's fighting at 147. And against very questionable competition. I doubt he'll go down at 140 because there are a lot of profitable fights at welter

i dont i just cant envision that fight going the distance castillo vs hatton could very well go the distance though Hatton has a very good chin and decent power. Cotto has very good power and a questionable chin. I don't see how these two wouldn't go the distance.

I would have said 25 years but there's Hagler-Hearns, Pryor-Arguello I and some others that were just as good.

These 4 should fight it out: Hatton.- beat the man at 140. Great body work. Can take a shot. Needs to prove himself outside the Mens Arena. He's the least seen of the four this side of the Ocean. Corrales.- winner of the best fight of the last 10 years, would be the undisputed king at 135 should he win the rubber. Great power at 135, relentless, capacity to take punishment and come back from the ashes. Can't be in a boring fight. Castillo.- loser in the aforementioned legendary fight, came back to KO Chico with a picture perfect left hook. Would be the undisputed 135 king should he win the rubber. Pressure fighter, great chin, has trouble making 135, arguably more powerful at 140. Most fans think he handed PBF his first and only loss. Cotto.- the least experienced and proved, but also the most powerful and with the most upside of the four. He will tag and get tagged, can drop and can be dropped. He is also the naturally bigger of the bunch, and he may be more powerful at 147 than 140. Ideally, Corrales - Castillo III is one semifinal and Cotto - Hatton would be the other. The winners of those bouts would make for one of the best, and richest, fights ever at 140. Onto my predictions: Castillo will KO 12 Corrales in a thriller. Hatton wears Cotto down en route to a disputed MD, getting dropped once in the process. The 3rd place bout: Cotto would beat Corrales rather mercilessly, dropping Chico 5 times before the ref finally stops it in the 9th. Cotto would not go untouched, though, getting dropped once and stunned many times during the 2006 FOY. The Final: these two great body punchers fight it out during the action packed 12 rounds, both equally busy throughout. The difference turns out to be the knockdown that Castillo's left hook inflicts on the Brit during the 10th round, as each fighter wins 6 rounds. Final score: 114 - 113 for the undisputed Junior Welterweight champion of the world, José Luis Castillo.
