To get this straight: The bout really wasn't about the belt. Every fucking journeyman bout has some title added to it nowadays. This fight was about how Sturm comes back after his elbow injury. About how he could take the punch of a knockout artist like Masoe. He showed that he is ready for the next step and that was by far the most important result of todays fight.

If the public starts acknowledge the worthless WBO as a world title, than we all should recognize IBO & IBA as world titles too... WBC, WBA & IBF are the only true world titles. won't work...remember promoters feed their propaganda to people who don't know better...except for probably 10%! the WBA isn't much genuine anymore due to its new "regular" belt!...that is a total joke!

Personally, I don't recognize Lamon Brewster as heavyweight champ or Margarito as welterweight champ which WBO champs are YOU referring to? yes those two are good examples and corrales also when he beat freitas.... it pretty much all started with brewster KO'ing Klitschko, and yes he is a gun, but until then I believe the american boxing fans didn't really recognize the WBO...now, a bit selective!... what do you think?
