Where's the Cotto vs. Gianluca threads?

To me it seems like top rank is moving Cotto backwards instead of forward by taking the Branco and Malignaggi fights.Cotto did look impressive but what did Branco bring to the dance? Now he's set to take on Malignaggi who in my mind is still a prospect and has no punching power.I've watched Cotto's last 5 fights and everytime he throws his hooks he is open to counter shots.Right now i think Hatton,Mayweather,Witter and maybe even Gatti all beat him. well well, havent seen you around in a long time :eek: Welcome back (did you leave, or just take a break?) :)

Yeah, You know that Miguel doesn't get too much love here in BS... Plus everyone is talkin bout the Lacy-Joe fight. I am becoming a Cotto fan he is really good sometimes just needs to get better D like Lacy but not as badly as Lacy.Branco was landing some shots at times but he has shit for power so it was not affecting Cotto.I watched both fights.

Yep Cotto handed Branco a brutal beating. Branco just looked pained from everything Cotto was throwing at him. Good win indeed.

What's up Tracy! Great night last Saturday huh! Ah Ha!!! THERE'S a Cotto fan!! :D All is well bud, how bout you? Oh yes, last Sat. was great...well, the second half anyway! I watched the Lacy fight first, then flipped it over to HBO for the Cotto fight. Very good night of boxing, for a change!

I though he looked good too. I waanted Branco to win. He fought like crap though. Weird how Malinaggi was doing the translating.

I've looked around, and didnt see even one thread about last Sat's win against Branco?!? I thought Miguel looked damned impressive, and he got an 8th rd. tko...so, why no discussion on it?? Anybody? they are around, search under branco
