You got young fighters like Vicente Escobedo, Jonathan Oquendo, Antonio Escalante, Andre Ward (Although he has not looked great)...ect... that look good... Just wondering what young fighter out there do you guys think is the "real deal"... Any prospects you know about that maybe some of us have not heard about should be included so that we can all learn.
any body have any good or bad fealing about D-hop
i think he's got a good shot at being champ. he's still learning on the job, his amatuer background isnt crazy extensive, but i think he is coming along nicely.
especially now that he has been sitting down on his punches, Dimitrius is hitting harder now and that will make a positive difference on his career.
He found out that his wife had been cheating on him, so he walked upto the guy (who was a bouncer) at the door of the club he worked at and punched him so hard that Joe broke his hand to pieces and split this guys head open. THAT is why he had to pull out of the Glen Johnson fight, not because of the Bullshit about an injured back. When his wife heard what Joe had done, she suddenly left Joe and took the kids with her. She wouldn't let Joe see his kids and wouldn't even speak to Joe. She moved in with that bouncer.
Rumour has it, Joe hardly trained for Salem but didn't have as much trouble making weight as he had done in his last few fights because he couldn't eat properly due to depression.
Do you know Calzaghe or something? Holy cow you know quite a bit about the mans personal life.
Bute was the first guy to win by stoppage over Salem. Remember as well all the trouble Salem gave Calzaghe a couple of years back.
It's hard to say how he stacks up to Lacy, since Lacy's has much more experience at this point. I'd say Lacy is probably the better fighter, but Bute definitely has the power and endurance to go far. Plus he's fought some other reasonably live opponents...this isn't a Buddy McGirt Jr. situation we're talking about here.
I'll try to get some clips of him up here for you guys.
That's not saying too much though, Salem sucks ass.
He still has experience with guys like Calzaghe, Harding, Echols, etc...
None of those aforementioned guys stopped him, so that is at least somewhat impressive for a young prospect.
Wow just looked at his record and saw that he knocked out Salem a couple fights back. Salem has been in with some solid Super middles...
I'll pay more attention to this kid.
Lucian Bute. Romanian, currently living in Canada. Super-middleweight punching machine.
Arnoutis is looking damn good as well.
I am still yet to see this kid. Has he ever been in with any kind of test yet or has he just walked through everyone?
I gotta find some footage of him.
Joel Julio, Chad Dawson, Boom Boom Bautista.
I want to see more of Allan Greene...the Codrington fight didn't answer as many questions about him as I wanted it to.
