Ok, going to bed, but here's some observations I made after rewatching the fight. Manny's speed advantage was just too much. I mean Manny caught EM with man lead lefts throughout the fight. He also had his way with EM's body. lb for lb, no one's got better power. Overrated, my azz. 130 should be the highest Manny should go. Good night everyone...

I really didnt care whom won this fight. But now its time for Barrera vs Pac, this fight needs to happen pronto.

At 30 it really is a question of what he wants. He can retire if he wants with the millions of made and I don't think people will think less of him if they look at his resume and the wars he's gone through. He can't stay at 130 easily due to the fact that making weight is so dificult. While I can't give you an answer I can give you two possibilities.. If Morales comes back to fight at 130... he truly wants to bang some heads and continue to be great. EM won't do it!! here are the reasons: 1.he had trouble making weight (130 lb limit) 2.he got beaten in a very convincing fashion (almost the same as barrera's) 3.he can't get any better. if it's right to say his on his way to declining 3.a fighter like him who's not used to this sort of beating will find it hard to recover from that and because of that... 4.he will retire or maybe move to 135 lbs. Excellent points, but EM is stubborn and he may feel that he wants revenge after a lot of thinking. And to think, EM was even considering fighting Corrales at 135.

I think morales shoudnt try and make the weight again, he should retire now. He has gotten as much as he could fron boxing. He should just let it be.

True that Barrera's reasons were valid, but the thing is that Barrera wasn't that eager to have rematch with Manny, while Manny sought the rematch with Morales as soon as possible. I don't consider it as an excuse its reality, EM deserves much respect specially from us PAC FANS giving our boy a good fight, I believe that PAC can take EM out at the later rounds on the grounds that EM looked so thin, he drained himself to be at that weight, and will be vulnerable as the fight goes along specially if PAC could hit him enough Erik will crumble ... yea manny is a more complete fighter. I liked how he was going to the body, and using his right hook. He is learning as he goes.

I'm rewatching the fight and all I gotta say is: it ain't just the jab-jab-straight anymore. manny ending combos with right uppercuts. WTF!?!? :D

I think that Morales was being honest when he said that makind 130 was hard for him. At the end of the day, Morales was his worst enemy, and manny capatilized. Morales can make the weight but his body doesnt want it.

I'm suggesting that Pac fans can't have it both ways. They can't claim the gloves were a big issue and use it as an excuse and then not mention these facts with Pac's win tonight. They can't have the best of both worlds is all I'm saying. So they have to either discredit both, or credit both... none of this in the middle bull shit. OK, I'll stop talking about the gloves issue and just say Manny kicked Morales ass tonight, plain and simple. :D
