Again, this is unbelievable! Mayweather-Judah still on for April!

MasterDirector.... Such a fan of the Sweet Science....such a "purist". Yet, he's a Judah fan....not realizing Judah is the worst kind of puncher (not a boxer)...a puncher who waits & waits to land the fight-changing shot. Anybody who claims they would rather watch Sharmba Mitchell fight than Corrales & Castillo is a straight up phoney. MasterDirector is a midget who has never stepped foot in a gym, except to film some boxing footage.

Why? it may be a good fight or a one sided whoop ass by PBF. I'd prefer to see Hatton or Cotto. Hatton has a good shot I think or at least would make for an exciting fight. Hatton is a warrior. im not talking about hatton or cotto. this was supposed to be a fight between #1 and #2 p4p best fighters in the world. since judah's humiliating loss, he has completely lost his p4p status. and since judah's not nearly as good as many thought he was, we all know that floyd would just beat him like a little bitch. theres no more mystery, there are no more questions, there are no more possibilities. we all know what will happen once this fight comes off: floyd by easy TKO.

I mean I agree with probably 90% of what you said. My whole point is I still think its going to be a good fight to watch. Zab is a good fighter and hes a slickster. And then Floyd is man and he is also a slick fighter. Its a good matchup... "What if Judah loses?" then I said naa impossible, if it happened, I would die of being pissed... but it happened... I couldn't believe it... That night before the fight, I was talking to my dad about going to Vegas for this fight...a few hours later....:( There's just no HYPE to go with the fight no more...

The Truth....my brother.... The reason I'm talking about this fight is because it's such a crappy PPV, PPV fights are supposed to be against TOP NOTCH fighters... It was supposed to be with 2 of the best fighters in the welterweight area...Zab was getting ready to be a top p4p fighter, and Floyd was going to make his statement at why he's #1... Then Judah loses to a BUM by the name of Baldomir, Baldomir was beat by a bunch of other GARBAGE fighters... Don't bring up the style factor either, Baldomir had no style, he's just punch...lol... Judah looked like straight up ass crack... He just exposed him for the 4th time that he's a overrated fuck.. Judah is overrated, that's the ONLY reason people are going to watch this...and any real fan would buy morales-pacquiao over this crap... Judah was blaming Don King for his loss..(Really say he wasn't blaming him, but yeah right, we all saw that... :rolleyes: ) Don King was doing Zab Judah a favor, he was trying to get him a BIG fan base in New York, he took Zab on radio stations or whatever to promote the fight so they could get a FULL arena in the 5,000 seat Madison Square Garden Theater...which they did... He was supposed to look spectacular, so he would have a big fan base going into the Mayweather fight at a BIG arena... This fight means nothing now..

part of the reason why people talk about it is because it shouldve boasted two of the top p4p fighters in the world going head to head for a title. but much like hopkins/jones, this is a great fight that could not have been made at a worse time. judah has been exposed and has lost 2 of his 3 titles. that eliminates more than half of the luster that this fight once had. we talk about it cuz we feel cheated. it couldve been a great fight, but it also couldve been made under much better circumstances. That basically sums it up. Another example would be Mosley-Vargas. I will probably still buy this one, but 3 or 4 years ago, this would have been a huge matchup. Fighters need to start taking these huge superbouts while they're in their prime, and not when they're looking to pad the retirement fund.

WHOAAA! That's an awfully bold statement. I see your reasoning as far Floyd's boxing brilliance. But if the Corrales/Castillo PPV was on the same night as Mayweather/Mitchell which would you watch? Damn good point. Unfortunately, big names are what sells a PPV, so this one will make plenty, but good fights don't always make that much. Look at how shitty Tyson is, and then look at the # of buys, then look at a good matchup like Corrales-Castillo, and I guarantee the Tyson fight makes 10 times as much on PPV... ridiculous.

Well Boxrec has the fight listed for the IBF welterweight title. Seems convienant since the IBF chose to let Judah keep it's title despite losing to Baldomir. Money hungry for sanctioning fee's looks like!

EvilSaint, I like you so this isn't a shot directly at you although it seems that way. My question if everyone hates this fight...THEN WHY TALK ABOUT IT? IF EVERYONE THINKS ZAB JUDAH IS A FRAUD, THEN WHY IS ANYONE TALKING ABOUT HIM? I keep seeing the same people saying the same thing over again about this fight. If you really wanted to teach Don King and Bob Arum a lesson then simply don't order it and stop talking about it. Your giving them what they want! Its almost like people that believe its a bad fight have to keep establishing it over and over again to make themselves feel better. Alright I'm sure everyone that goes to these boards understands now, everyone hates Judah now and the fight sucks in everyones eyes besides me and maybe two or three others. If Hatton fights Castillo and Cotto this year then he has automatically achieved more than PBF, and should be regarded higher in the P4P rankings (that is, if this fight goes ahead)... If you think about it. Hatton - Tszyu - Maussa - Mandatory (Ben Rabah isnt it?) - Castillo - Cotto Is way way way better than Mayweather - Gatti - Bruseles - Mitchell - Mandatory (Witter) - Zab Judah That is, if the plans are correct, and if indeed PBF DOES fight Zab and Hatton DOES fight Castillo and Cotto this year like he said he would.... In fact Hatton could still fit in PBF, right at the end of 2006 if he does that, and if he destroys all 3, im sorry, but he will be simply... the .... best. :boxing: :D

I aint buyin this PPV, but shyt imagine if Judah DOES beat Floyd.

ok, the match still being on, doesnt really suprise me. the match being on PPV DOES suprise me, it also disgusts me. we all know zab judah is a fraud and is nowhere near p4p caliber like floyd. this fight should not happen, should not matter, and most importantly, should NOT be on PPV. ive heard of rip-offs, but this is ridiculous!

Judah has no 0% chance of beating Mayweather. I picked Baldomir to beat Zab and he did. This fight will just be another LOSS for Judah and I predict by KO. :cool:
