Even if margarito cant beat Mayweather, that's the toughest fight out their and it would be prety entertaining. I dont know why so many people hate on Margarito, even HBO has been calling for this fight everytime Mayweather fights HBO allways brings up Margaritos name. The truth is that if Mayweather wants to be called the man at 147 the he has to fight margarito. There you're wrong. You should be right, though. That is what I hate about Mayweather is that he looks so good against his avg, hand-picked opposition that everyone will say he has cleared out a division when there are still a couple guys there to fight. At 130, he never fought Casamayor even though he had a title. Looks like he's skipping out on a Hatton or Cotto fight. Whoever he dodges at 147, it won't be enough to keep the nuthuggers off 'em.

Cintron is the biggest, fastest, most powerful fighter Floyd would ever face. When Marg traps PG on the ropes like Castillo did, Marg is gonna turn the lights out for his pretty girl. The only way I see Marg losing this fight is if they DQ him for excessive salivation over the thought of getting PG in the ring before the fight begins!

No it isnt you guys need to do your homework.Point is Margaritos loses came early in his carreer and a loss in PR to 175 pound Santos which was a very close fight stopped on a cut.He has gotten better and more expierienced since.All Im saying is that if anyone has a chance to stop at FLoyd at 147 its Margarito I have never said he is God.

You ever heard of George Foreman? Muhammad Ali? Roy Jones? Your boy, Mike Tyson... Margarito has been the most consistent guy at 147 for years. He is the real deal. He is a threat to Mayweather. I know another guy with more than two losses who gave Floyd more than he could handle once... but u guys hype him up like he's GOD. not alot of ppl know about him. and all those ppl with losses came when there career was going down. not at the height of there career. adn how dare u put him name with those greats. :D

It is true that the list of high-profile fighters at the 140-147 level is starting to drop dramatically. Other than Floyd, Hatton, Cotto, and Margarito you don't have much left unless Castillo and/or Corrales move up. But as it looks now the future of boxing can be found above and below this mark.

Mayweather should go back down and fight Hatton because that is the only fight left for him.

I don't think that Pretty boy has much to benefit his career at 147. Now that Judah is out of the question, all that is left is Margarito. Pretty boy needs to drop down to 140 and fight Hatton and Cotto. Cotto may be going up 147 this year :D so that may be another option for Prettyboy, but until then what's next for Mayweather? Baldomir will give up the titles to Mayweather(easily), but that fight is not good for Mayweather's career! So who should be next for PBF? Baldy only has one title to defend. Zabby might be an inconsistant fighter, but he landed flush with his Pretty Girl tag. Poor PG is clueless. He'd rather fight for peanuts than make a big fight. Not a single title defense in over 2 yrs now and only one title fight. P4P great or P****4US?

I think there is more hype in Cotto. The guy almost got knock out Chop Chop and chop is a much lighter man. PBF will destroy cotto with speed. All those body shots will never hit PBF.
