Fight Night Round 3

Yeah I'm really looking forward to this game. I just have to decide PS3 or Xbox 360.

So i found some info about FNR3 in a pretty recent article and figured id post it in NSB bc more people would see it. (hopefully this actully is the right place) Its a ten point article that give us a basic overview and review of the game. yooo victorious boxers is hot...i find that game more fun that fight night round 1 and 2... FN is the same shit over and over.. but i still like it..but fight night 3 better impress me with some good boxers man...i dont want the same boxers as part 2 and this style shit better be good... Wow, what a crazy topic? I do not post much but I thought I had to finally chirp in. From what everyone has seen of coures FN3 LOOKS aswesome and we will just have to see how it turns out. Not a big deal... Masterdirector, I think you feel that you are "supporting" yourself with "facts" in your posts, but comparing a video game to Adolf Hitler and the Jews...this is just dumb. You are purely one big opinion, we all know you like this other game..enough. Also, you can critisize how unrealistic FN1,2 is, however your Cartoony anime game isn't any more real than a Dragon ball z fighting game. Yeah "haymakers" were cheep, and it is something they need to really improve on but it doens't make it outrageously unrealalistic for a video game..c'mon. Last this is a thread about FN3, not your game. FN3 LOOKS amazing, and your game looks fun too. So stop argueing pleaase.

I think it's a brill game with the punches and the what not but i agree it does suck that some of the best are not their!

is castillo and judah in it? it doesnt say, but is said the cast would mostly be the same as last time, and castillo and judah were missing. as was tzysu, who was the current light welter weight champion :confused: :confused:

The Golden Boy is a HUGE addition but it sucks that Tyson isn't in it.

It is your opinion that Fight Night R3 will be the best game to date. You're wrong. The game you're talking about doesn't even COMPARE to fn3. Obviously you don't know anything about boxing-games. You should stick to playing Miami vice nintendo ;) .

what platforms is that other boxing game on? and I really want to know why u say it takes about 2-3 years for a boxing game to be made? because it takes people about a year to come out with the beseball gaes and ect. and so I really don't see anything different for that and a boxing game.

While there were some nods to boxing styles in last game, you could choose from only three options: power, balance, and speed. When it came to getting busy in the ring, one of the most important aspects of your "style" usually involved deciding when to let loose with your haymaker. Boxing styles will play a much larger role in Round 3, and you'll have more control than ever when deciding exactly how you want your created pugilist to fight. Your entry into this improved style system will be the improved create-a-boxer feature. Of course, it will contain the requisite insane amount of detail and flexibility that made the last game's create-a-boxer feature so fun, and you still use the dual analog sticks to make adjustments to things like face size and nose shape. Along the way, however, you'll also be asked to choose your boxer's in-ring style, and you'll have a number of different options to choose from under three main headings: movement, punch style, and block style, Styles will play a big part in your success in Fight Night Round 3. When it comes to movement, the available style choices are, among others, smooth, bully, upright, textbook, mummy (think George Foreman), and wild (think Prince Naseem Hamed). When choosing your punching style, you'll choose which types of punches you wish to focus on when trading fists in the ring, such as the lethal uppercut. Finally, a plethora of blocking styles will be included, so you can choose from a cross style à la Jake LaMotta or an up-and-down block style. These different styles will play a huge role in your success in the ring and will dictate how you'll need to shape your style to be effective. Your block style, for example, will determine how effective you are at stopping punches from a variety of different angles, and as a result, you'll be more effective against certain punches than others. from gamespot on there review on it. sweet that they are putting in some styles into the game, bout freaking time. looks to me like its going to be a good game.

The thing I don't understand about EA sports with their fightnight stuff is why do they put only a few new characters in every new Fight Night Game as if it's that hard to put a bunch of new characters... In Fight Night all the characters have the same style. They don't put styles in the game. Styles to them is making a boxer run around the ring and a swarmer stand their and get hit. I wouldn't mind even if Fight Night put only one new character per game as long as they had that character's style down packed in the game. Even if they just used style prototypes like they use now, but just in further detail that would be good. they say they fixed that ... the styles

:rolleyes: so misinformed one of those graphics= good video game types. its stupid that people limit themselves to mediocre games b/c they're unwilling to mod their ps2s and import. IF fnr3 is even as good as vb2 or all-stars, i will give you 100 million points. Whatever man. Its about how real the game is for me.
