Those fighters OUT of the top 10 from last time:
Bernard Hopkins, Jermain Taylor
i have no problem with the rankings, but i thought some would like to discuss. ;)
Morales should be higher up the ranks,
Why is marco antonio #3
why is manny pacqiao over morales.
why castillo below rafael marquez.
marco antonio won his last 3 fights
manny won his last fight and looked good morales lost never looked that bad even when he lost to MAB
castillo is 1 of 2 in his last fights so i see him below marquez but both abouve jmm
I really don't see why everyone knocks Juan Manuel Marquez. I don't necessarily believe he should be on the list either, but neither should Judah or a few others if this is supposed to reflect what they've done lately. I thought that JMM should've won the Pacquiao fight. I gave him nearly 10 rds to 2 vs Pac and all those fought after the awful first with a broken nose, the guy is a hell of a fighter. He doesn't deserve to be on this list but he also doesn't deserve all the slander and being called a pussy and whatnot.
Forget Taylor and Judah. Castillo shouldn't even be in p4p list. he cheated.
he would of won the the first castillo corales fight if coralles wouldnt of cheated. dont you agree. he cheated againts a guy who cheated againts him. eye for an eye
hmm
This is their worst list in a while. I usually love their lists. Taylor not being included and having guys like Hatton and Juan Marquez over him is foolish. Also, imo Castillo should be higher but I can understand his ranking in some ways since he didn't make weight for last fight.
Well, james toney will have to take care of rahman. Then fight that test tube baby from russia. once he do that, he have to wait for chris bitch byrd to get his head out of his ass. then maybe, we would see him on the p4p list.
Good point, I myself have forgotten the two. As far as "Lights Out" is concerned... Well who has he fought at HW. He fought Ruiz and got caught for 'roids. I agree w/ everybody else Toney fighting Ruiz 50 times and JT will probably come out winning all 50 of 'em, but again he got caught w/ a banned substance. As far as Byrd... The last time I saw him fight he was getting knocked around by one of the Klitschko's so don't know what's really up w/ him these days.
I think Bryd is the longest raining champ in the HW div, he's had soem tough close fights over the past few years. Toney has had alot of great fights over the years. Bryd was knocked around by both Klits a few years back, but is still champ today, hell Zab was KTFO a few years ago and he made the list
i am pleased to see that taylor is not on the list. he is the one of the sloppiest fighters around.
How can you cal JT sloppy, he only looked that way against BHOP, but thats the only way to beat him. Where the hell is Tarver?
What does James Toney have to do to get on the list? Winning titles in 3 different weight div and going un defeated for 8 years doesn't get on this list. Don't know why they always try to leave the HW's out. Bryd should also be on there.
Lets compare Taylor and Judah. Taylor beat a legend twice. Judah beat Cory Spinks once and damn near not another relevant opponent.
Forget Taylor and Judah. Castillo shouldn't even be in p4p list. he cheated.
Absolutely not, maybe he should try making weight before his next victory rather than making a mockery of the rules of boxing by not adhering to agreed upon weight limits.
As to whether or not Taylor should be in, I guess it depends on how you look at the fights. I like Taylor, and I would love to see him in there, but I can understand leaving both him and Hopkins off the lit after the 2 shitty performances in a row they put in.
Everyone else on that list, even the 3 fighters I don't particularly care for (Judah, Hatton, Mayweather), are all far more exciting to watch, and give everything they have when they get in the ring. They either completely dominate most of their opposition or knock them out.
1 - Floyd Mayweather
2 - Winky Wright
3 - Marco Antonio Barrera
4 - raf marquez
5 - Manny Pacquiao
6 - jermain taylor
7 - Jose Luis Castillo
8 - Ricky Hatton
9 - Diego Corrales
10 - Erik Morales
jeff will b in wen he beats calzaghe
If Manuel Marquez' name was there despite coming up with a draw in his only fight against a p4p fighter, why be suprised about Eric's name appearing? :p Friend, Eric Morales' name has been there for at the least 2 years.
He lost to Barrera but won against Manny Pacquiao. Take note that both oppositions we're P4P fighters also.
Yes he lost to Zahir Raheem but this is his first fight at 135 weight class that it can lower his name in the standings but won't be enough to drag him out of the top 10.
To be honest ive not seen much of Marquez but Morales seems to walk straight in regardless of his results. If he loses to Pacqiao im betting he will still somehow get in the top 10 p4p list.
England are not doin bad either look at Amir Khan,Ricky Hatton,Danny Williams and Matt Skeleton.
Leave me out. Khan is still a rookie and Williams and Skelton suck (although so does the whole heavyweight division).
