Its was an uneventful fight and a snooze fest uptil the 10 th round where willams floored harrison with a grazing right after that harrison opened up a bit and had willams against the ropes in the 11 th round hitting willams with combinations and had willams in trouble but was too exhausted to finish . Audley boxed terrible he just jabbed ran and held didnt open up with combinations for fear of willams power and ever time willams got close he tied willams up . harrison has got no ability to fight on the inside and can not handle pressure . Harrison showed he has no chin, no stamina, no power and no chance of even picking up a heavyweight title any puncher who exerts pressure will dstroy him . Willams on the other hand has heart, chin, stamina and power but has very little boxing skill , he has no footwork ,poor headmovement no mobility and average handspeed but he could pick up a heavyweight title but more than lighly wont because he freezes on the big ocassion .
they both looked so bad tonight, harrison has no chance of beating anyone half decent, williams is past his prime, way overweight and looked like he couldnt fight for more than 10 seconds at a time, i like danny so good luck to him but he has no chance at anything approaching world level either, harrison ought to retire he was truly exposed and having no heart, no inside fight bad stamina, bad chin, its no good having a bit of long range skill if your afraid to use it, both of them were a disgrace for 9 rounds
Is it possible that Audley Harrison had a bad night?
you have to earn bad nights...Morales earned his vs Raheem...MAB earned his vs Pacman...
Harrison finally fights a top 15 guy and does nothing of note
I know Audley was hyped to be the next Lennox Lewis. My question is, how would Vitali have fared against Audley being that he gave Williams the wost beating of his life?
I stand to eat a little crow here. I thought WIlliams was gonna see the lights tonight. Very wrong on that. Maybe Harrison can learn form this experience. It sounds like he didn't want to throw most of the fight and that won't cut it in a division of hard throwers.
He did anything but expose him, he won a split decision, and all the commentators had it 6-6 as a draw, but the 2 judges out of 3 gave it to williams because of the knockdown, with 1 extra point.
Before the fight Audley Harrison was billed as the future heavyweight champion by himself and many others (including Foreman & Lennox Lewis).
After this fight, I for one (and I expect many others) won't be watching him again in a hurry unless there is a very good chance of him getting KTFO

he was exposed, because williams is done, and had audley had an impressive ko, than he would be considered a legit contender. now we know that audley is not champion material

It was that bad I'd say no, he seem to freeze and did nothing until round eleven!
Williams was set for Harrisons jab but he didn't throw it he just stayed out of range and pawed, there seemed to be no desire to win only survive!
one thing we already knew was that his cautiousness makes Lennox Lewis look like a prime Chavez and Duran mixed together...
I think most of us thought that fighting on a higher level would cause him to break out a bit...but he just let things slide...
I think most of us hoped this would happen after all he was an Olympic Gold meadalist!

Harrison exposed.
Audley Harrison after this lack lustre defeat to Danny Williams has finally been exposed as an overhyped pretender to the throne.
As a Brit I hoped that maybe he would offer something to the World Heavyweight scene but after this performance I sadly admit that this is not the case.
Harrison and Williams hardly engaged for ten rounds until Williams landed a shot high on the temple of Harrison that sent him to the canvas, Harrison then to some extent then woke up and shook Williams in the eleventh, they then each rallied for the final round but by then the boo's and disapointed was ringing out.
Williams deserves a little credit for at least initiating what little did happen in the fight but he certainly didn't light up the night himself.
Back to Audley, he look tentative even scared, he pawed out his southpaw jab more to keep Williams away than to win the fight, each time it became physical Harrison grabbed, held, spoilt and complained and looked as if he didn't want to be in there.
Harrison for me has finally shown what he can do in and around World level and that I'm afraid is nothing.
