Yes but not for a long time. Tyson in this day and age could walk right through john ruiz in the first round with not much effort, but if he went in there with a good opponent such as a Vitali Klitschko or someone who would be able to handle his punching power, then it would be a different story.

I know tyson dosent have the desire or dedication to become champ but dose tyson still have enough speed and power left to become champ ? . tyson still has decent speed and good power, but not good enough to be champ... well id like to see him fight byrd or ruiz brewster would kill him, and rahman...not sure yet

And this coming from someone who believes James Toney will clean up the division, it's not ;) Coming from someone who thought Vitali did, it means very litte. Toney is the best of a bad group, and stands a good chance of beating Raman and Byrd. I never said anything about 'cleaning up the division', but I'd certianly favor him over the other title holders. The fact it bothers you people like a real proven fighter must sting, otherwise you wouldn't spend so much time crying about it. I think he can win the title again at the moment, he only needs to catch somebody with two or three bombs...and this is what they said before Tyson fought Williams and before he fought McBride. I had the honour of meeting Mr Tyson yesterday in London. To have him look at you straight in the eye is a very strange experience. He does not have the Heart, nor the Stamina to be the champ.. Speed and Power is not enough! Brewster, who has a very good power and speed combination, is a champ today mainly due to his HEART... This is like asking if a car with half the tank and a good engine can drive for 100 Miles? Problem is, the transmission is shut! Now you answer that question. But besides that... Tyson has already been exposed and too many fighters can beat him today.

I saw a sparring session of tysons before the mcbride fight and tyson looked very impressive lots of spped, power and headmovement he looked like the tyson of old , why didnt mike bring all that to the ring when he fought mcbride ? .

If ifs and nuts were candy and nuts we'd all be fed for a lifetime. If Tyson had the brain of Bernard Hopkins and the dedication that goes with that, sure, he could be a threat even now. But he doesn't. Tyson is done, please stop talking about him. Can we please move on and talk about other fighters that are relevant to now. Mayweather is fighting this weekend.
