Jirov Vs Tarver?

i recently discovered that ive been overrating tarver. sure, he beat jones twice, and had two great fights with glen johnson. but when i saw those fights, i came to the realization that tarver is a cautious puncher and hasnt had a great record of taking aggression. and jirov is no slouch when it comes to aggression. and jirov has power, chin, and heart, too. if jirov comes back down to cruiser, and tarver moves up, i say jirov by UD.

Jirov/Tarver now? Tarver easily decisions Jirov. Pre-Toney Jirov/Tarver? Jirov folds Tarver over with his body punching and brutally stops him inside of 10. Jirov was a monster before Toney got his hands on him. Tarver/Harding I anyone?

It all depends on the division they would be fighting in. In HW, I would probably pick Jirov, remembering what he did to Mesi. If Jirov would have to lose weight, it would give Tarver a great advantage IMO.

Jirov will blast tarver's chin with his non stop punching which includes power.Jirov is stupid going up in heavyweight division rather than going down to light heavyweight and knock tarver out.even glen johnson clearly won the first fight with tarver with non stop punching..Jirov has got more power than johnson.

I don't feel jirov is the same fighter after the toney IMO. Tarver by UD clear as day just like the cooler said.

Jirov would win, proabably by TKO late, He fought great againts Toney that was a great fight but Toney was just to much for him sliping and banging Jirov.

I wasn't really impressed with Tarver's win over Jones. He stuck to his gameplan but he wasn't exactly very active. The fight was a repeat of the first fight he only let his hands go when he got Roy against the ropes. Tarver worked his tail off for that fight, and he still had no stamina from the 10th round on. He has elite defense. In fact, he has one of the best defenses in the game, but when he get's tired he drops his hands, and he's really slow an awkward. I think Jirov would wear Tarver down, and UD Tarver.

Jirov's a non-stop punching machine, and he would take this fight. Tarver isn't active enough and skillfull enough to defeat Jirov.

I'd like to see this fight, I hope it happens. I like Jirov on this one, he's an awkward fighter but he's a non-stop punching machine. Tough fight for both fighters IMO.
