PS
pisses me off boxing 'politricks' didn't allow Benn/Eubank V Toney/Jones :(
When the fuck was that?? That's totally out of charactor. Now compare that to all the times when Eubank said that there was nobody out there who could beat him (and called Toney a clown), and it makes you look a little silly.
When he came to my town doing a 'tour', he had derek from big brother with him, but the only time i had seen derek was in At home with the eubanks, it was in june 04, my wife was heavily pregnant with our third child (he gave her tummy a rub too)
It was basically a two man show with derek 'leading' chris into various parts of his life, at about the half way mark the audience was given the chance to ask chris questions.
I asked him what was his thoughts on toneys general attitude was and about his respect (or lack of) for other fighters were giving the example of when he gave him and benn aload of jip via sat link and toneys rant after the holy fight and after chris had given us his opinion on that i slipped in do you think you would of beaten him when you were all champs at the same time and he answered me (very honestly i thought too).
Ive posted about this before juy aswell you should remember.
It was an excellent night i got the chance to chat to him after the show too he was very humble and seemed genuinely pleased that people had come out to see him and actually liked him
ive heard it straight from the horses mouth that he probably wouldnt of beaten toney when he was IBF champ.

Who cares about the rankins, Eubank admitted that both in their primes Rjj would win.
Can't be true because Eubank claims that he could of beaten anybody!
I heard the british guys wanted crazy money to fight Roy Jones and that they were not willing to leave Britain to fight him...so im not surprised the fight didnt happen.
Well you heard wrong then, because its common knowledge that Nige Benn said that he'd give his $6mill that he'd make from the RJJ fight straigt to the Gerald Mccllellan trust fund and that Benn would be willing to fight RJJ in RJJs backgarden,

"Eubank, I will beat you, Nigel and your Momma's all on the same night...with one arm tied behind my back!" -James Lights Out Toney 1993
That was funny as fuck when Toney was confronting Nige and Banks all the time, the fights didnt happen purely because they couldnt agree money issues, with James not willing to accept 50/50 splits with Nige and Banks calling Bob Arum an "amateur" compared to Don King (Arum had Toney at the time) and Banks wanting more money. Nige really wanted the fight but wasnt willing to accept anything less than 40%,Nige actualy offered James 60/40 in JT's favor but JT turned it down

And for what it's worth, James Toney was at ringside for the Eubank-Holmes fight.

I thought Lindell was a Kronk fighter? Manny Steward was in his corner when he fought Eubank.
And for what it's worth, James Toney was at ringside for the Eubank-Holmes fight.
In that picture of you in your signature, Chris..
You look like you have a condom on your head.
Bill Miller trained both Lindell Holmes and James Toney. He brought Lindell up from scratch.
Rockin' :boxing:
