Is Kessler/Lacy ever going to be made?

As LuKahnLi previously stated, "Kessler is one big scary white dude!" Lacy/Kessler NEEDS to happen NOW. This fight is infinitely more interesting than a Joe C/Lacy matchup. Both guys can bang, both guys have demonstrated granite chins. I think it would be FOTY type material. So, is it ever going to happen? I know that Kessler has welcomed a future matchup against Lacy, and Lacy has expressed interest in the fight as well. Also, who do you see winning this potential fight? I'm still a little bit in the dark on Kessler...this is why I am inquiring. personally i think you just want to see kessler get ktfo ;)

I think Lacy will beat him, but since I'm scandinavian, I root for Kessler all the way.

i hope so, i'd take Kessler in this fight, he's tough, decent power, good combos, good work ethic, decent chin, and has i think better Boxing skills than Lacy. i think that Lacy could be beat buy a good jab and good ring movement, a stick and move kind of fighter. Lacy is good and i like him lots, but he seems real one dimensional and very predictable, to his credit though, he does get better each fightand is a monster with power. this is the kind of fight that can bring some attention to the supermiddle weight division, and attention is much needed in this division.... Yes i'm also for Kessler due to the better boxing skills which seems to give him an enormous reach advantage just see the Siaca fight because Siaca has longer arms. Besides Kessler moves well in the ring and is rarely hit so it will be very difficult for Lacy to land his big shots on him. Hence i think if the fight is made that Kessler will win on UD. I think this is a fight both boxers is interrested in since it will make the winner number 1 at supermiddleweight.

Lacy also has a decent counterpunching game as of late. He's still green and will become much more polished with his next few fights. Lacy/Kess would be a hell of a fight.

the more i hear about lacy, the more i like him, cuz think of it like this: lacy is p4p the best SMW and hes pretty damn active for a top fighter. 3 fights a year when most top fighters are a bunch of pussies who only fight twice a year is pretty impressive. lacy is probly the most vocal fighter today about unifying the titles and hes already got two titles to his name. he had a fight with calfaggi to unify the titles and now theres noise about a unifying match with beyer and kessler. lacy obviously isnt afraid to fight anyone in his weight class. lacy is undefeated, 20-0-0-1 with 16 KOs, the IBF/IBO SMW champion, and is the only one whos literally calling the other champions out. lacy has this ability to stick to his slugging game plan and still catch slick boxers and beat them using his same game plan. in conclusion: lacy is undefeated, a hard hitter, a unified champion, an active fighter, a willing fighter, and hes still young. if the fight isnt made or at least not right away, lacy's young, he can wait.

I believe it will happen with in the next 6 months to a year or sooner is Calzaghe somehow gets out of the feb 5 date with Lacy.Lacy also is fighting Pemberton on Nov 5 I am quite confident Lacy will win but this is Boxing so you can't rule anything out.I think lacy beats Kessler tho but have to admit I know little about Kessler except he is undefeated and has good power....should be very interesting when it does happen.

I think thats a great match up, i'd like to see Calzaghe face Tarver and Lacy face Kessler, then maybe the winners fight each other. I'm starting to like Kessler, he's a tough fighter with decent power and decent handspeed for someone with his style. I think he's give Lacy a hard fight, maybe even beat him.
