This is the problem with internet forums. All this kids with all the time in the world but no freaking idea what they are talking about and still wanna be taken serious. They would actually be half believable if there wasn't so much hating mixed in with their posts. The point is the fight still on, and everyone will still watch it, but if you feel like Castillo cheated by not making weight, then don't watch it. Go watch a Harry Potter movie or something. Let the true boxing fans enjoy a true boxing war. Fights like this is the only reason boxing is still alive.

Bu heavens! Castillo is a respected champ with a good reputation following him. Keeping up that reputation means complying with standards imposed upon him. If Castillo was just some Peden or Fana or some unknown noob, people will just shrug it. But Castillo is a champion and standards of excellence are applied more strictly at upper-tier fighters. It's a fact. No one complained when Morales came in overweight and he is more respected than Castillo.

The fight is not at 147 pounds. Corrales doesn't have to weigh in again only Castillo. He must be at least 147 pounds or he will be fined $75,000 for every pound he is over. It won't make a difference because Castillo would of came in at around 147 anyway. Corrales will come in the around the same weight. You people are making too big of a deal about it. Corrales isn't complaining. It's not like Castillo is the first fighter to ever come in over the limit. Remember not too long ago Morales came in heavy and no one complained then. At least Castillo apologized for coming in heavy.

hahaha, Scap talked shit about Cotto being overweight or whatever and now look at him "you dont know the Sport"... Hey IWATCH my boy how are you... Cotto is a guy who weighs 140 on weigh-in day and then weighs 155-160 on fight night which is fine...his opponents are tend to be 135 pounders (Sosa/Ndou) that cant even break 145 on fight nihgt...do you see the difference? Im not knocking Cotto at all, as long as he can do this he should but he will be in trouble when he fights guys that are his size and even bigger. Do you see the difference here? There is a real good chance that Corrales will still outweigh Castillo? Everyone...please quit tarnishing this fight with stupidity.

For the 1st fight they weighed after the official weighin: Castillo 147 & Corrales 148. Yeah Castillo didn't make weight but I don't think it will change the outcome of the fight. Corrales will stop him within 8 but Castillo will use the weight as an excuse when he gets KO'ed.

Umm you can use whatever defense you want, but Castillo will get nothing from any self-respecting boxing fan if he wins Saturday night after this sickening display today. This fight is now a special 12 round attraction. No Titles are at stake. Castillo really screwed himself. If he wins, he still does not get the Titles, and if he loses then a third fight will not likely happen. Who cares what the weight is at this point?. If I was in Corrales corner, I would say Fight a similiar fight that Jones Fought last week, Even if Corrales loses he still keeps his Titles. Corrales could even quit on his stool after round 1, and still keep his titles. This fight should be cancelled, or put onto Showtime, and should not be PPV. There is no Title at stake, and means nothing. They should at least knock the price of the PPV to $25. Gatti vs. Ward I was a great War , but with no titles the rematches were on regular HBO.
