After his last fight, a tko victory over kid diamond, do you think campbell has a shot to challenge marco for the superfeather title?
his last fight was at lightweight, but i think he could move down and make a splash.
now, i know he lost to peden, but if any of you have seen that fight, he was seconds away from knocking peden out and then starting acting like an idiot and taunting and got clocked with a perfect shot. i thought that loss had permananatly affected him, but with his last win, it seems as though he is back on track.
in my opinion, the lanky campbell, who has great body punching ability may be able to cause problems for marco if campbell is in good shape and mentally focused. he has always been a pretty good prospect, so what do you think??\
who else, with the exception of pac, may get the next title shot??
Nate Campbell could be a true contender at 135 with his skill set, the problem I have is that this guy continues to get shots such as the Peden fights along with his dubious draw on NBC a couple of years ago. The mental game is not there for him right now. He needs to get his head out of his ass and decide if he wants to be a champion or a could have been. He can wina title vs Juan Diaz, but he would need to have EVERYTHING in perfect condition for that to happen, and it hasn't come full circle for him.
It's not going to be Campbell, because I don't think Barrera is going up to 135, and Campbell would be foolish to cut down to 130 again. He's just too big.
I'd like to see Campbell fight Jesus Chavez at 135.
As for Barrera, I'd really like to see him rematch Pacquiao, but I don't think that's what he wants.
Barrios (if he's ready) would be a good action fight for MAB, or possibly someone like Vicente Mosquera.
Barrera/Mosquera would be a hell of a fight. Mosquera whacked around Yoda 3K which didn't really seem like an easy thing to do. I'd make them even money.
I hate Nate Campbell. Diamond was overhyped anyway...
A Campbell/Chavez matchup would be interesting...but I think Chavez would beat him up and stop him late...much like Peden did in the second fight.
Campbell if he is on his game like saturday would kayo juan diaz. the clean shots he was landing on kid diamond were vicious
I think that had more to do with Kid Diamond keeping his left low and not being able to block/slip to protect himself... But its cool to see a fighter with Raheems style and some power.

yeah, he was a beast, i really want to see what he can do
Campbell seems to be very at ease at 135 so he should stay there and fight the named fighters in the division. His last fight against Kid Diamond is not an easy one but he showed flashes of his old self. I'm giving this guy a fair chance to shine in the 135 division.
i know he got beat up, but i think alot of it was mental, but you do have a good point. more than anything, im looking for barrera's next competition
Ya, me too. I want to see another bum get beat up again.

If he were to drop down and fight Barrera I think it would be a mistake.
i agread with u "bozzo no no" it will be a mistake to fight barrera he should stay in135 and fight fighter like jesus chaves, juan diaz ,julio diaz, castillo and corrales
Campbell was beaten up and KO'd in the Peden rematch.
I think part of his problem was lacking power from making 130.

He looked fresh and strong at 135, and that's where he should stay without a doubt.
