Don't forget that Vit is also very well known and loved in Germany. I think we would see honest judging (rare occasion, I know). That said, Vitali is a great counter puncher and would probably KO Valuev by 8. Valuev would have to come to Vit and would be eating his punches all night long. If not, Vit would be just sticking his jab in Valuev's face all night long. Unless something foul is around, I don't see Valuev winning this one. you guys are nuts if you think Valuev lasts more than 4 rounds. and god rest our souls if we have to wait 4 months to see vitali fight this piece of shit, what a career setback.

After seeing Valuev's performance against Donald at the weekend, I'd feel very confident putting my money on Vitali. I agree, Vitali by TKO 10.

clash of the titans - isn't that what the klitschko/lewis fight was labled? if they did fight they would make history as the biggest total combined weight in a heavyweight title fight. i think klitschko/lewis currently holds that record.

Why? Valuev to me just seems like a slow, ogre who can't box but tries to and has absolutely NO pop on his punches. When he hit Donald with punches they were like little slaps...even worse then Byrd. Vitali would knock this guy out with EASE. Fighting Valuev would be about as challengng to Vitali as his first ten opponents of his career were.

Vitali would wipe the mat with that goon inside of 5 rounds. Two different classes of fighter. Ones a sideshow and the other (in todays boxing realm) is world class.

Big mismatch vitali would dismantle him in the middle rounds.Could be a bit like the Bowe v Gonzales fight.

you're prediction, if this fight were to take place, is most reasonable. valuev looked a bit stunned a few times in the donald fight. nothing that had hurt him much, but it looked as though he took a few good shot, and hid the fact that he was momentarily stunned. however, i must add emphasis on momentarily. valuev is very slow. doesn't seem to pop his punches out well. and doesn't put combos together very well. among his positive traits, he truly tries to work the art of the sweet science instead of just unskillfully mauling people with his size.
