Cotto's no joke. Only reason why he was getting staggered was because he was trading on the inside. If he goes back to his normal counter-puncher self like we saw against Abdullaev the guys going to be a force to be reckoned with...believe me. i agree with about 90% of what you said... all except "only reason why he was getting staggered was because he was trading on the inside". i believe cotto is a legitimate contender and champion, but as we have seen in the torres fight, cotto has been overhyped and won by the skin of his teeth. cotto has good power, good tech and skill, and a ton o heart. but his chin is definatly weak or at the least, suspect. corley staggered him and torres almost KOd him with shots that didnt even land completely. cotto is overrated, but i know he can do better. all he needs to do is change his style to playing defense, counterpunching, and finishing strong. cotto's chin wont allow him to brawl, as shown in the torres fight. cotto's NOT a joke, but he IS overrated. but he CAN get better.

I think Cotto could beat Hatton but PBF couldn't. Hatton beats Mayweather though. Cotto gets KTFO buy the 2nd round but Hatton ,maybe 3rd or 4th buy Mayweather ! Cotto is a overhyped glass chinned joke !

Hatton's a big puncher, it's just that Frank Warren ALWAYS matched him with the most durable-chinned fighter available so that the fans would get their money's worth. But Hatton has knocked out guys with single shots that were supposed to have granite jaws.

I highly doubt that Mayweather has a good chin and can take a lot of punishment from Hatton. He's very small, he's the size of a junior high kid. Mayweather has fought better punchers then Hatton. Hattons punch count might give Mayweather problems but his power wont.

I think Bob Arum may try to push Cotto onto the winner of Hatton-Mayweather. Hatton Vs Cotto at the MGM Grand for the WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO titles. Then Hatton retires. Seriously, I'm betting money on Hatton to stop Mayweather due to body shots. I've been studying both of them, most of their fights of the last three or four years, and the visualisation I'm getting in my head is that Hatton stops him to the body. And I'm always an excellent predictor of outcomes of fights.
