if that is the case then he should hiring a bunch of bums to fight him each week..he can knock them out and perpetuate the illusion of greatness,,
Wtf!? Close your legs and go wash your crabby before showing it off..
The f**K yout talking about. He only lost by like 2 rounds. Did you even watch the f**ing fight?
Chill man, it's just banter. That's what the smiley was for.
I've seen the fight 4 or 5 times and Hatton takes it by at least 4 rounds.
He was hurt. The shot was flush right on the chin, perfectly timed. The fact Hatton took recovered so well, is quite something.
I will rewatch the fight again tonight since I have it on the computer...you may be right but at any rate by the time Hatton was up he looked fine...I think it is a good thing for a fighter to get dropped before his really big fights...if he recovers it will make it more likely that he won't fall apart if he gets dropped again..
I don't know what you're talking about. The guy is planning an early retirement.
That is what Hatton says but it seems unlikely that he will retire without the big fights he wants so he may stick around longer if the fights wind up being tough to put together...also, saying you will retire in three years and actually doing so are two different things...
Eamonn Magee was good and he dropped Hatton's arse. Almost beat him.
Hatton was not hurt in the least...the knockdown was a flash knockdown, which everyone, no matter how sturdy their chin, is susceptible to...I thought it was a great fight for Hatton since he never seemed fazed in what was a tough fight..
i'm saying...........what's the point of the question........if the guy holds the title by dethroning the champ (however controversial in hatton's fashion), then he doesn't need to prove anything to anyone .....except that he has the belt!
While Hatton hasnot fought top competition, aside from Tsyzu, he is young and has plenty of time to build a legacy by fighting guys at the top now...if you carefully examine the records of most fighters these days there are more than a few fights of questionable value...Roy Jones and Hopkins are considered greats and both their records are not exactly loaded with the most challenging competition, especially considering the skilss of both fighters..Hatton has a chnace for career defining fights in the next few years..

well had torres not ran out of gas and taken out cotto....would ppl be asking this question........the answer NO..........
?????????
What are you saying?

At the end of the day the guy beat everyone put in front of him and that's what counts. His only obligation is to himself, but obviously he's entertaining because he regularly sells out the venue. Time will tell if he ahs either the desire, skill or the opportunity to become a great.
Lol
I would say Tackie and Phillips are the next best fighters he has ever been in there with.
I suppose the Brits will have all the answers to this thread though. As far as I am concerned....those three wins are the only ones I give him credit for.
