Roy Jones suffers injury?

Darius' only trip to the US that I know of was when he sat ring side at Roy Jones' fight with Virgil Hill. It's no suprise he tucked his tail between his legs and flew back to Germany.

to be quite honest, Roy may be finished, maybe not i always thought he was a great fighter but ive never had a lot of respect for him because for whatever reason a lot of great potential fights involving him never happened. Such as? I seem to remember him fighting Bernard Hopkins, James Toney, and ending up at Heavyweight. Darius didn't want any part of Jones, and neither did Calzaghe. Outside of that, care to explain what you're talking about and how Roy was at fault?

You guys do see through this shit right???... If he was genuinly injured he would not say, "I'm still going to fight anyway!" - If he did then he's a complete dickhead. Boxingtalk.net is reporting Roy Jones suffered an injury in sparring but is trying to go on with the October 1 fight vs. Tarver. I hope he is not laying the foundation to pull out of the fight if he doesn't feel like he can win. You have to be a member to read the interview, but the main quote is on the front page. i just read the interview and jones is absolutely determined to fight and beat tarver oct. 1. he said he wasnt about to pull out. he said he will take a cortizone shot or whatever it takes to make it happen. i cant paste the interview because on BT you cant highlight anything to copy it. but i wouldnt be to worried he sounds very confident. also he said hes still working with merkerson but his dad is there also. This is terrible news, but I like the things Roy said in his interview not reguarding his injury. I believe he is ready, hopfulley the injury won't destroy this fight.

Also, Joe injured himself training multiple times...and pulled out within one week of a fight. Also cancelled on Glen Johnson 3 times.
