with all his ko's he should have decent power. if he clocks cotto early he could have a chance, but cotto is a true champ i say he takes him out 8 round ko.

His stats are padded because he hasn't gotten a chance to fight any big name fighters. All of his fights have been outside of the US, so it's not really to be held against him. Granted he'll probably lose, but it should make for a decent show. well either way, cotto will portray this opponent as some KO king with this impeccable record..........which obviously he isn't.... cotto is doing the same thing also, by way of padding his own record.....

how many times to i have to say this: yes, hes fought some horrible competition. but thats changing with cotto.

this guy has a padded record.........credit to him for getting the KO's, but look at his opponents' form and records.....all you see is red (boxrec.com)....... he's only fought 3 fighters with more than 10 professional wins.........this will be an early KO win for cotto.

this is a great opportunity for both fighters. if cotto wins, he can say he beat a KO artist and a legit threat to his title. if torres wins, he can say he beat an undefeated, powerful champion and will open the door for him to many other paydays. i like cotto, but ill be rooting for torres in this fight, simply because he has more to gain and has a better KO rate. make no mistake, cotto's cool in my book.
